Thanks for the tip - looks interesting. The video looks to be better quality, which will make a difference now that I have installed a 42" tv in front of the bike. Unfortunately, it looks like it also requires the ANT+FE-C firmware upgrade, just like Zwift!
My bkool classic runs on BRVR with no issues. Not f-ec enabled (not capable) but it runs just fine. It's free at the moment so give it a bash.

As it turned out that was a good warmup for SC5, or so I thought.
Used @JacobSkovsgaard as my carrot and inherited a second @JacobSkovsgaard, a slower Pep and a few others.
@JacobSkovsgaard and his twin were working together so I latched on until one went ahead.
I was not too worried as I thought I would pull him back on the climb.
How wrong was I, he destroyed me and then some more when gravity took over.
With hindsight I should have put a dig in to keep with him but in the end I lost 30 seconds.
I was certainly feeling my CG ride on the run in to the finish.

I'm currently 5th in the trials :hyper: That can't be a good thing for Team UK :surrender: Come on @peterob , @JJRobinson and @TurboTommy , save me and save the team :becool:

I had all the best intentions of riding today, I even bought myself a month bkooling pass last night. But I got a bit over involved painting the kitchen and the rest is history. I’m going to have a crack tomorrow if anyone fancies joining me.

Whorty I wouldn’t get your hopes up that I’m going to claim 5th spot from you. Who knows what type of form I’m in. Plus you vs bruusgard is a Hollywood film in the making!! :hyper::boxing:

Selecting ghosts is a bit broken in bkool at the moment so the best thing to do is challenge a rider who you think you'll be close to in time so at least you're guaranteed their ghost. Choose wisely and good luck.......

I fear the film would be a farce  And wouldn't end well for Team UK (unless I can find that remote control out ..... now where did I put that?!? )

Throw in a bit of @bobinski as well to stir up the emotions a bit more.
It could be like Death Race 2000 but with bicycles.

I,ll be painting the road for Tommy and Whorty:okay:

I’ll say this Whorty. I didn’t have to qualify to get on the team last year so if you do qualify you’ll already of done more than we had to previously. Whoever gets on the team this year has definitely earned their place.

To be honest in the build up I knew I was the weakest guy in the team. This isn’t false modesty, they’d been consistently kicking my arse for the whole time I’d been racing them!

But really when it came down to it that didn't really matter, winning was always going to be tough so we made sure we had a good time. I think we all just had a fantastic time being part of the team. I hope if Bill makes the team again he'll blow the cobwebs off his wallet and buy a headset this time! ^_^

And it might be team UK but it’s team CycleChat first. We didn’t leave the ‘CycleChat’ after our nicknames in by mistake last time. We did it because We can be proud of making a team from such a small comunity. It really is rocky balboa stuff. And not just because most of us look and act like we've been hit in the face too many times...

It would honestly be a surprise to me if I make the team again because I've not raced much in a while. But I'll be just as happy, and way less sweaty! Cheering on the team. In fact it would be great to give something back for all the support we got last year

Just reviewed my WC5 stats and my dead stops and lack of acceleration cost me dearly against @JacobSkovsgaard who slowed less violently than me at the dead stop points and his descent acceleration was the polar opposite of my dead stops.

In fact my acceleration on the descents mirrored his deceleration on the ascents and vice versa.
Peche!

Tommy! Tommy! Tommy!

"A vague haze of delirium
Creeps up on me
All at once a tall stranger I suddenly see
He's dressed in a silver sparkled
Glittering gown
And his golden beard flows
Nearly down to the ground
Nothing to say, nothing to hear
Nothing to see
Each sensation makes a note
In my symphony"
