I like it. Week 4 and getting harder. The best thing is it forces me to push myself. My Strava fitness is back up to 68 from my peak of 105 in the past.
Ill never be at your level, but I never was. Its just really enjoyable to ride.

Edit: I have a vision of a very tall "kid" asking for candy. I hope you're successful.

It’s all relative isn’t Randy. I’m not sure I’ll ever be as fit as a was a couple of years back. I’m trying to do the rouvy training plans too but kind of picking and choosing sessions in a very un scientific way. But I’m with you, it seems to be helping me having a structure of sorts. Otherwise it’s very tempting just to pootle along.

You’ve got to remember you are 45 now - that’s 20 years older than the average lifespan of a Londoner , you’ve done well but time to let people help you across the road mate

Bkool not linking to Garmin but Garmin sends workouts to Bkool. Found this from 8 years ago.
think I've found the answer....

I think this explains it - found on Bkool blog....

"For the time being, this connection [Bkool & Garmin accounts] will only show workouts from Garmin Connect and send them to your Bkool profile. It will not synchronise your activities on Bkool to your Garmin account however we are not ruling this possibility out for a future update".
So 8 years on and still they have not sorted this. Very perplexed it’s so disappointing.

Business as usual from BKOOL. Also promised a new (subscriber) website years ago, but we still have the abysmal one, which has been there for 10 (?) years. Planning league rides is still a chore because of the extraordinary poor search functions for routes, ghosts etc. etc. etc.

Sunny !! You have been misinformed! Went for a ride in the murkiness and found myself going up hill on dual carriageway with slip road on left - all I was thinking was ‘I’m gonna die , I’m gonna die ! Then got onto the muddiest roads ever with potholes that looked like entrances to caves - and then the rain came ! Should have stayed in the pub ! Wanted to get to Dartmoor but state of roads down here isn’t fun

In their defence they are consistent 🙃.

All jokes aside it’s a bit annoying isn’t it. Is there a work around where you can take the file from Bkool or strava maybe and manually upload it to garmin?

There’s a lot to be said for doing laps of the local park!

Are you doing a bit of a mini break down there?
