Yes it is a game, as it is when we amatuers do (local) bike races. Would you accept a guy on a motorbike winning, just because racing is not your daytime job? It is all about fair play, at least that is what we try to teach our children here in Denmark.

I accept and respect that he wanted to prove a point (although already proved by Bridgy and presumably Pep), I just don't like the way he did it. Bridgy did it the right way, by not completing the stage and messing things up.

The only thing gained from this, was 9-10 minutes in the rankings, everything else was already known...

In my harsh message to BKOOL, I actually did ask them if they wanted us all to switch to Zwift. I had hoped you would all have backed me up against the cheating, but alas you all seem to just accept that by now. Sad but true...

Lost in translation perhaps BUT I am against cheating and that's why I feel more comfortable in Zwift for reasons you and others may criticise and reject. My concern was your criticism of Whorty and the reference to cyclecheat. I don't mind you or anyone else being hot headed . I have an appalling temper which is why I became a lawyer - had to have a forum in which to control myself!
I would ask you reflect on your criticisms and throw them in the direction they should ALL be thrown. And not is NOT at Whorty or this misguided group of middle and late aged men^_^

OK.OK. This pressure is too much. I'm actually 213 pounds and never changed my Bkool weight because I keep thinking I'll lose them before the next race. Whew. Glad I got that off my chest. It would be better to get it off my belly.

Edit. I'm keeping it at 210 for now because I'm sure I will drop a few pounds this week.

Maybe it's something that's lost in translation Bruusgard. Accepting something happens doesn't mean it's ok or you agree with it. It just means you are acknowledging it happens.

Some examples?

I accept the UK voted to leave Europe
I accept Donald Trump is US president
I accept I'll probably never play football for Tottenham Hotspur

Do I like these things? No. But I accept them to be true. We don't agree or condone cheating by accepting it happens.

The difference between Whorty and the other people you mentioned is that they were caught. Whorty admitted he gained an advantage the next day. Maybe what Whorty did wasn't perfect. But your comments are very unfortunate and a bit insulting.

Maybe change the name to cyclecheat? Really? Maybe question our nation cup results? Well I was part of that team this year. We came rock bottom last and were still very happy because we knew that we absolutely killed ourselves for every point we'd won. And we did that knowing there was a very good chance at least one Spanish rider would not play by the rules... I have no doubt next years team will try just as hard in an honest way and to question that is an insult and very unessasary.
If you want to get pissed off about what you feel Whorty did what sort of reaction do you expect from this type of comment that you made?

Some people don't like seeing arguments and I can understand that. Fine. I'm not one for sitting on the fence. Maybe change our name to cyclecheat? I think you need to apologise for that comment or get the fuk out of here. Seriously. We're all honest here. Including you I believe. That type of comment is total bullshit.

I think you're a good guy Bruusgard so that's why I can talk straight with you. And I like the fact you're competitive and may I say a little hot headed. Things we have in common!! I'm very much looking forward to racing vs you this winter. But I think you need to take a little step back from what you're saying. None of us like cheating here. As Bob says, get angry with bkool, not eachother!
Just saw your comments TT... really???????
Never play for Tottenham Hotspur! I'd love to see your bucket list

I accept the UK voted to leave Europe

Now you have started and argument, but sorry I don't accept that.

I think the UK voted to close it's borders and pile more money into the NHS and didn't really have a clue about all of the side effects not to mention that the two things they thought they would get might not happen anyway.

At the end of the day it was only a 2% majority for (52/48) and I am sure more than 2% of the 'for' voters voted on one or both of those subjects only.

Is that not a 4% majority?

Veteran 3. When I say middle aged my wife says" do the math"

Like I have said before.

I intend to live until I'm 100
If you are a teenager until you are 20 then that leave 80 years to be divided between young, middle and old aged.
So I was:
1. A young man from 20 to 46.66666 years old
2. I'll be a middle aged man until I am 73.33333
So at 57 I am only 2 years into mid-middle age and have another 6 years in the bracket.
