Had my tyre off an re-seated it, seems consistent all the way around apart from where the valve is, where it is ever so slightly higher causing the bump on the trainer. As I mentioned yesterday, its a lot quieter and also seems to offer a bit better grip but obviously still slips when out of the saddle on steep inclines. Highly recommend anyone who is using a standard tyre to get one.

If i could get a trainer tyre that would fit my wheel i would all the trainer tyres are to narrow for my cx wheels

Never measured it but there ritchey pro disc ocr's i know some folk run 25s on them but i was strongly advised against anything narrower than 28...handling rim damage etc...but does it matter on a trainer i wonder

Just remember pedals aren't like normal bolts.......

It is important to remember that pedal threads are different from left side and right side. The right side pedal has a right-hand thread (removes counterclockwise, installs clockwise). The left side pedal has a left-hand thread (removes clockwise, installs counterclockwise). Many pedals are stamped "L" and "R" for left and right.

May explain why having problems removing them, apologies off you already knew this.

You should notice a huge difference changing to SPDs, just remember to align your cleats correctly to avoid any knee pains (apologies if I'm preaching to the choir)

Didn't commute on the bike today so hit the turbo this evening. I did the 18.1km Sterling session from @burndust, nice flat route, just what I needed. I had burndust and boab as opponents, it's not appeared on my session list yet!

EDIT: The session still hasn't appeared, hopefully it'll turn up soon but it's been an hour so it may be a techy issue at my end, it was the first session using the newly built laptop in the garage. I did the session in 28minutes and 45 seconds.

EDIT2: The session appeared about midnight some 3 and a bit hours after it was completed. http://www.bkool.com/bkoolSessionHistory/showSessionSummary?sessionSummaryId=518832&completed=true
