Do you guys use trainer tyres i'm finding it hard to source a 28c the minimum my wheel will safely take
:welcome: to the group.

I use an old road tyre, but if I had to buy a new tyre I'd go for the cheapest I could find.
The best deal I can see for 28c is Probikekit.

Pinched a route off @Snaily today. Pure coincidence. I needed about 17-18 miles that were fairly flat, so I did a search and this came up. It would have been rude not to use it ^_^.
I enjoyed it, but there are so many roundabouts and corners. I imagine that in real life they must make the ride a lot slower.

Glad the ride was suitable for you, the roundabouts are not really a problem the bloody potholes and the foot bridge are a pain in real life. It was just a route I uploaded after seeing a neighbour doing it on strava and was curious as to where the footbridge was so I followed his route.

Uploading the route however has highlighted a couple of issues with BKool. First unless I am mistaken once a route us uploaded you are unable to delete it and second I would like to see the hidden locations feature that strava has where the start and end locations of a ride within a 500m-1km radius can be hidden.

I'm still not back on my bike/trainer due to this cold, in the meantime I have ordered a new rear wheel as it seems I have a buckled rear wheel that is only noticeable on the trainer and contributes to extra noise. Also bought a new cassette and rear derailleur and trainer tyre as my road tyre seems to be shedding a fair bit of rubber.

Thanks for not minding. It did feel a bit like stalking .

You are correct on both points. Once I realised what was happening, I started my local routes from a road junction some way from my house but the first route I put up has more detail than I like and I can't get rid of it or amend it:thumbsdown:.

Everybody seems to have this damned bug, except me.
There. I said it. The demons are gathering as I type .
My tyre had been behaving well, until I did the Madeleine. That removed a lot of rubber and it wasn't because I was standing. I assume it was the constant slow speed and cadence that did it.

Probably ;).
There is no direct upload to Strava. You will need to download to your own computer, and then upload from there. The download button is ringed on this screenshot:

As Strava only accepts tcx, fit and gpx files, you must export from Bkool in one of those formats. If you can only export an hrm file there is a way round it by converting the file to an acceptable format. Let's hope that isn't necessary.
If you rode a Bkool session using video or Google Earth, the file you upload to Strava will not include the route details so there will be no map or segment times/positions.

If you want to join the team so we can all share rides and times, go here and click "Join this Group"

As Asa has already explained there is no direct way of uploading to Strava. You can upload your downloaded BKool .fit files and manual upload to Strava but the route info is not included.

If you wish for the route to be shown in Strava then you need to download the .hrm file from BKool site and add the route you have just ridden by re-creating the route in your chosen software, Bikely, Bikehike etc, and save as a .gpx file. You then need to merge the two files using a program called tcxcreator. The hrm and gpx file must have the same file name to merge. Finally upload the finished .tcx file to Strava, if you tick the ride was done on a trainer then the route will not be shown. If you tick the route was not done on a trainer and shown as public then the route will be shown and you will also be included in segments (not good). At the moment it is best to have routes ticked as "Private" until the issue with Virtual Reality trainers is resolved.
