The real world isn't all it's cracked up to be. Went mountain biking tonight and had a heavy fall. Hit my head pretty hard - my nice new mtb helmet has a big dent in it (birthday pressie, only second outing!) and I have an egg sized lump on my head. I'm just starting to get my memory back but I couldn't even say what day it was after it happened, or remember anything else from the last few hours.

Now the pain down the rest of the left side of my body is starting to kick in. Still, could Have been worse - nothing broken!

You don't get this with a bkool ride!

Hope you feel better soon. Good that your helmet took the force of the blow, a cracked helmet would have been a cracked skull otherwise...

Edit. You have a good excuse to stay in and watch the tdf for the next couple of days...

No one has mentioned it yet so this can't be a spoiler.
Eddie BH was so so close today he should have got the stage for trying so so hard before and almost catching even Herr MK out today.
Respect Herr MK as you were caught out by the length of the last straight and still powered through.
Also good that Bannani and Nightmare are getting on so well their in fight is distracting them from winning.
