Talking about nice things I spotted a Willier Superleggera frame in Tri-UK today (when I was buying an adjustable riser stem,ugly thing if ever there was one, fro my more upright non-aero turbo riding position) what a thing of beauty, I want one.

A little lighter in colour and it could be my Benotto 'Oro'.. stunning.. absolutely stunning

The real world isn't all it's cracked up to be. Went mountain biking tonight and had a heavy fall. Hit my head pretty hard - my nice new mtb helmet has a big dent in it (birthday pressie, only second outing!) and I have an egg sized lump on my head. I'm just starting to get my memory back but I couldn't even say what day it was after it happened, or remember anything else from the last few hours.

Now the pain down the rest of the left side of my body is starting to kick in. Still, could Have been worse - nothing broken!

You don't get this with a bkool ride!

Not good mate! Thankfully you had a helmet as it sounds like that saved you from something that could have been a lot worse Stay on Bkool .... it's safer in the virtual world

At least your 'birthday' head is still alive!
Once place a helmet is really needed (not on your head) mountain biking!
Cos there are all sorts of jaggy rocks and things to land on.
Landing on a mountain goat might be a soft landing but a helmet and body armour will be a good idea shortly after.

I had a nasty head injury from a Motocross bike fall. I was tired and had headaches for quite a while(weeks). Memory was a bit fuzzy(normal for me)

Jim, it's like a dark polished copper, it has a lustre like that of polished aluminium where the shine looks like it is emanating from the core of the material and not just the surface, far too nice to take outside. I might nail it to the bedroom ceiling though.

In comparison one of these was in there, no comparison.
I even asked the guy in the shop if the big bottom bracket fairings were where they kept the battery for the motor.
