I was trying to redress the export balance. Ok, whilst the weather can be a little challenging here in the West, the cycling is just staggering. I have two Glens on my doorstep, Fruin and Douglas (hardly see a car) and less than an hour away from Rest and be thankful, Loch Katrine, Aberfoyle, Invuraray and The Trossachs - all stunning. I suppose the other thing is that with the weather being a little changeable, when it is good, it's great..

..and on that bombshell.. I won't be with you at 5pm tomorrow comrade.. if I'm back, I'll vandalise the road for you.

You kept me motivated the whole way and didn't give me the excuse to cruise to the end once I got tired. I was well happy to make 320 watts and thought it'd be a lot less after a month of sitting around. Looks like I may have a chance against @Whorty after all (unless of course he swaps out his flip flops for a pair of shimanos) .

Yes, but that was just a "cool-down" race after a hard livesession. I Hope to do 14:30 when I'm home from Italy :-)

I was going to be very sporting and only do each stage once.

Well you can never be too careful. When codgeritis creeps up on you its worth having defences. 250 watts of defence might have to be my next purchase.
