And there's me thinking you'd just decided to take it easy tonight - I should have known better!! Impressive emergency repairing!

Time in motion 24:25 so you beat me regardless of my delayed start.
You must have been going great guns.

I can't help feeling I was going better before I slowed down when I met Brushguard but I felt like I needed to slow down.
It's almost sometimes that BSim gifts you and if you drop the baton it takes the gift away.

When that happens to me I just shout "Simple Simon says!" just to distract my brains attention from the symptoms.

Also consuming electrolytes can be very dangerous.
Always make sure the batteries are removed first.

There is however a simpler solution for you Breedon, just don't paint door frames but if you do have too tie bits of string from your wrists to your ankles to stop you raising your arms too high.

I assume that you avoid Mexican Waves as well,.
Who would have thought that they could be so dangerous.

Earlier I did some work in the garden and had a really nasty dizzy spell. I had to lie down or I'd have fallen over. It was a bit scary TBH but had no other sensations apart from the lack of blood flowing to my head. Had an hour to recover before the ride so was feeling fairly normal by 7pm. Was curious to know if it was a one off, but it turned out that it wasn't. As soon as I started to feel faint again I stopped. Hopefully just a strange turn and back in action on Saturday.

Also, get your wife to buy you some nice scatter cushions, preferably red ones, so you can put them on the floor around your turbo.
They will:
1. Break your fall and hence avoid disturbing your wifes peace and quite (You know that is most important for a peaceful life)
2. Adsorb blood so you don't have to clean it up when you come out of Hospital
3. If you have passed out it will make your time on the floor more comfortable

1. Yes, going great guns (176 average HR, 185 max)
2. New tyre which seems to work well
3. Course suits me (no steep /long hills for you to leave me for dead on!)

Right have now done a weeks training so ready to launch myself back into garage cycling mode. Much gone on in the world of online cycle grooming in my absence?
Welcome back - looked like a good trip to Belgium you had, based on Strava. I was in south Holland over last weekend and it was REALLY hot - mid thirties on Saturday - so I hope it had cooled down at least a bit for you?
