If anyone is considering recording video rides to upload to Bkool, amazon have the Garmin Virb on offer http://www.amazon.co.uk/Garmin-Elite-Action-Camera-Wi-Fi/dp/B00EQ36ZY2/
Cheers Mark, was a tricky one for sure! Winner did it in 44 minutes!!! I managed 57 mins. He must have had off road tyres on for sure. I'm really struggling with a hamstring niggle to be honest, any advice? The bike doesn't aggrevate it, but the running sure does. I abstained from all exercise for two weeks when I did it, and thought I'd got it, but it's still niggling. Its not a show stopper, but do worry I'm making it worse.Well done Adam, a nice tough course by the sounds of it, good placing 57th out of 300
Is this all I would need to video and post rides onto Bkool? I know NOTHING at all about how to do this, but if this is all I would need I might get one! Geoff....please advise? Or anyone else who knows for that matter. Remember though, I am a carpenter...not Bill Gates! If anyone is considering recording video rides to upload to Bkool, amazon have the Garmin Virb on offer http://www.amazon.co.uk/Garmin-Elite-Action-Camera-Wi-Fi/dp/B00EQ36ZY2/
Thanks! Thanks, hit the right link this time ...
You can ride them anytime in the date range listed for it to count to the league placings. Thursday night is when we try to get as many on the same ride together, it invariably turns into a bit of a race. Thanks!
So how do Thursday Night Leagues work? Says on Bkool:-
Thursday Night CC Feb Wk3
From 15/02/2015 to 22/02/2015
Does that mean I can ride it between those dates? Or does it have to be Thursday?
Thanks for that info. You can ride them anytime in the date range listed for it to count to the league placings. Thursday night is when we try to get as many on the same ride together, it invariably turns into a bit of a race.
No, never! And if you're a sore loser like me, you then try and beat them again and again in the available league window. And invariably fail! You can ride them anytime in the date range listed for it to count to the league placings. I myself would just stretch more AFTER a run and do self massage in the shower on the calf and then sit in front of my comp with my legs elevated and a good old bag of frozen pea's.Cheers Mark, was a tricky one for sure! Oh so that means if I ride this one it won't count :-You can ride them anytime in the date range listed for it to count to the league placings. Thursday night is when we try to get as many on the same ride together, it invariably turns into a bit of a race.
I just paid $34 for this one fom amazon. I hoped I could pair it with the Bkool iPhone app. The app recorded a ride I did last week. And then I got dreams of producing a video ala Geoff or Paul.Is the Garmin Virb ok? Is it fit for purpose? I can stretch to £120!
