first proper road ride of the year, the turbo has made a big difference. The ride was just under 50 miles (we took a shortcut home as one of the group lost his legs at 35 miles), but didn't really feel it, all the climbs (well bumps) were easy. So thanks for all the motivation, competition and goat stages!
I agree. I did my first real ride last week and the hills were where I noticed a huge difference. My old trainer was a Minoura ICE with Netalthlon VR and when doing real rides the hills would kill me. I only did 12 miles not 50!

Bill, can you go back and re-read the Tortoise and Hare. When you were 8 minutes ahead you should have got off and had bacon and eggs then let the dog out. On the bright side, since my wife gave me the plastic trophy after I bragged about all my Bkool trophies ( right handed male veteran 2 - time indoors with last name b.. ETC) I stopped, but now she will have to listen all week about how I came in second place to Bill S. Oh yeah, THAT Bill S!!

Thanks for joining me Randy. I'd have felt a bit lonely with just the ghosts and probably be wondering why I was doing that ride again if you hadn't been there. It was a very popular ride on Thursday so most were probably reluctant to do it again.
Well it was a good close race and yes, you did come second  so you deserve all that praise from your wife and another bkool trophy for supporting Thursday Night CC Group admin:smile:.

Sorry I wasn't there guys, sat in services near Reims, 5 hours to go. Worried about how much crap I have eaten, don't want to put any weight on! Really missed my ride. Should be able to do next Saturday's rerun of Rundlestone!

I was on the road unfortunately, heading to my parents. Can't wait to try out my new BKool legs on the real road. Got some epic hills round me to test them on. But hate washing my bike, so until the road is bone dry, its indoors for me.
If there's one thing Wales does well, it's hills....hills and lamb!

Hello everyone. Been sitting on the fence, undecided, for quite a while.

Bit the bullet and went for it.

Delivered Thursday. First ride tonight - only 20 minutes!

Initial problem - seemed to drop its Ant+ connection. Re-established by unplugging & plugging back in. Hopefully a one-off.

I finally have 2 ANT+ dongles arrive today, only a week late

After some issues pairing the KICKR with BKOOL, I managed to pair with Zwift first, done a quick island circuit then the spindown calibration in Wahoo Utility followed by a quick 10 min velodrome session to test the KICKR and BKOOL software. All seems good and look forward to a proper test tomorrow if the weathers pants outside.

Hello.
Get a USB extension cable to get the ant+ closer to the unit. Most here have done that and the problem has gone. Don't think you'll regret biting that bullet, especially if you join Thursday Night CC group and The Mountain Goats group. You can do that on the bkool website.

Bill? Thankyou for the uplifting, you've been beaten email! Lol!

22 seconds though? Surely you could have whupped me more comprehensively than that? My attempt was done chasing Kipster! But he beat me!

Haha Sorry! I had to untick the box that gave me those emails a long time ago as I was getting far too many. And my home page still gets filled up with "YOU HAVE BEEN BEATEN BY" messages.
Competition is much harder now than it used to be in Goats and Thursday CC so I'll take any win I can get

Thanks for that, Bill.

What might be regarded as 'too far'? My USB port is only 4' / 1.2m away.
