I've just found out it's not a valid attempt because my weight should remain constant throughout the league.
That was my first attempt during May and I've lost a few pounds so when I rejoined I adjusted my weight in my profile.
I nearly killed myself last night trying to beat my all time favourite cyclist Bugno and now they are saying it's not valid the scoundrels.:surrender:
A tacx Neo and Zwift here we come....;)
It just needs to be approved by a mod .... @BILL S I think can do this for you and release the ride :okay:

Now that would make me happy^_^
I did have you as a ghost as well for the ride Whorty, not for one moment thinking I could beat you but just for interest.
You set off like a steam train and I was suprised that I was not too far away at the end but it was challenging Bugno that got me over the line.

I went off fast to try and keep up with @rob01792 who I know always bolts away from the line. He's line a rat up a drainpipe from the startline!!!!

I'll check out your ride when Bill releases it - be interested to see the power breakdowns :okay:

I so don't trust a lot of the folk in shops and garages, especially places like Halfords, sooner DIY every time but then again I have been fixing bicycles since the late sixties.
I am the same as you AACC have always done my own maintenance and actually feel that is part of the enjoyment of cycling. I remember on one of our pre-breakfast rides in the 70s my left Campag crank sheared off .....you and the lads were very sympathetic...tighten your other toe strap and hammer down Nine Mile Ride one legged behind us! What make of bike was that you had in my Avatar pic?
PS...I am starting to crack on getting a Turbo!....I've got more into monitoring my road rides on Garmin connect, and am seeing the benefits of it, so the Turbo may be the next step.

Chaingang race tonight is Stage 3 in Chinorlet - Campules.
Warmup time 7pm. Race 7:10
Couple of ghosts to add...... Me and Steve. Not a nice course for me, but may suit others  a word of warning - last lump before the end goes up to 6% and a real energy and speed sapper! I was Ave. speed of 40.5 going into last mile but ended up on 39.7 kph. Save something for that hill is all I say :okay:

Looks like I need to change my handle to AAC and miss off the A for Army

You had an Allen, at first I was riding a Alec Bird sprayed Columbus then after that I had a silver Dawes
So it looks like the Black Bird, as is in my Avatar
