yeah, i've gone on there many a time for help .... but to me, what looks easy to the guy on the net proves a bugger for me! I really am that bad mechanically (or DYI for that matter). I never had a bike as a kid (poor upbringing ... get the violins out  ) so just never learned how to do these things and as I reached adulthood and get into work that trend continued. Having flooded a house, and electrocuted myself, my wife is also happy that I get someone else in to do anything slightly complicated - she's already said she doesn't want me to mess with the bike brakes as she doesn't want them failing on me in wales and me riding off the edge of a mountain :B) She loves me dearly, but even she knows my limits

I love things mechanical. I derive lots of pleasure form fixing things, modifying them to suit my needs. I service all my vehicles and obviously bike maintenance. I spent one winter doing major servicing of all my mates motorcycles. 5 bikes we stripped down, cleaned, lubed and serviced.

Those were the days

I so don't trust a lot of the folk in shops and garages, especially places like Halfords, sooner DIY every time but then again I have been fixing bicycles since the late sixties.

I attempted a stage 1 chaingang ride last night and I'm not understanding what the red cross signifies.
I also experienced a dead stop last night which was horrendous and Bkoll should definitely issue a health warning and It's something I never experienced using Zwift.

Bikes often need a bit of TLC to keep them running smoothly. From a bit of chain lube to more drastic measures. It definitely helps if you can do the maintenance yourself. Having said that, my missus is more likely to cut my brake cables rather than worry about them failing so it's probably more important for me to be able to spot these things!

I've just found out it's not a valid attempt because my weight should remain constant throughout the league.
That was my first attempt during May and I've lost a few pounds so when I rejoined I adjusted my weight in my profile.
I nearly killed myself last night trying to beat my all time favourite cyclist Bugno and now they are saying it's not valid the scoundrels.:surrender:
A tacx Neo and Zwift here we come....;)
