I wonder if this is the same problem I had? I hope so as it would suggest a system problem rather than just my trainer - still need to identify the cause of the noise and vibration though

I have music blaring out so I couldn't tell you whether mine was noisy or not Bridgy.. it has happened once before a few week back where it was just like cycling through sand - same again last night.

Hope it is a glitch for you (and me)... if it happened again I will definitely get off and re-boot.

Trainer-road says ignore the calves and ankles, just relax them, quads, glutes, hamstrings in a piston like action. Welcome to the world of a spinner
Most of the time yesterday was doing a bkool workout. Most of that workout was in z1 and I was averaging 90-95. When it went to z3, z5 and then z6 I was still doing the same cadence as anything lower didn't feel right.
It takes a while to get your average cadence up but your cycling will improve. Over the last 12 months kinesiology gone from around 80rpm to c95rpm, depending on steep hills and first gear!
It's took me about a year to go from 60 when I started riding again, having not long stopping smoking, to about 80 odd. I just need to be able to kick it up to 90 or more.
95ish for me too. It has now reached the point where less than 90 seems wrong.
I can do medium length stints (for me) of 90-95, say 15-20 minutes, on flatish routes. But getting through a full 1-2 hour group of sessions at that rate, where climbing is involved, is difficult for me. I can get it to 85 on occaision but not regularly. It seems to be gearing is either too high or too low to maintain a steady 90.

Still now I am back I'll just keep pushing on :bicycle:

Bkool wasn't playing at all last night for me @Whorty - it was one of those 'I'm going to make it really hard for you to get up 2% climbs' nights.. as for the 4, 6 & 14% climbs - forget it. I nearly re-booted and re-started but carried on through 16 odd miles and then threw the towel in. I messaged you but you must have been 'elsewhere' ..

Fingers crossed it is back to normal tonight.. :heat:
I saw you at the start ahead of me then lost you. Couldn't see your name anywhere. Figured you had technical issues and got kicked out. Not big on that course, it's definitely broken!

Is this bkool cadence, as I'm sceptical about the numbers they show.

Sadly, not any more Whorty. Zwift or Tacx app on the NEO/ Wahoo cadence sensor

95ish for me too. It has now reached the point where less than 90 seems wrong.

On the turbo my natural cadence seems to be about 93-95 on the flats, about 85 on climbs, and I can get to about 120 before I start bouncing about on the saddle, which isn't very comfortable. In real life it seems to be a little lower in general, but can hit higher cadences than 120 for short periods.

Oh crap. My calves are really complaining this morning. When you up the cadence they don't tell you all the consequences :B)
Mine would often be just on the verge of cramping during the handicap races, particularly if I decided to push on any of the downhills. That's when I knew I had the cadence just about right.
