As a newb, an I just check the procedure for the handicap tonight....
1. First riders go off at 7pm
2. Just before your own start time you go into bsim and select the scheduled league event for tonight
3. You sit motionless until your start time (which will be 7:06:40 for me)
4. Go like the clappers for the next 40 mins or so
5. Fall off the bike and crawl into the fridge for a beer
Is that about right?
As a 'newb' you can be forgiven for making a few errors and it's great to see my erstwhile comrades putting you on the right track. I would like to thank them too, for allowing me to help you with one last point. Point 5 - whilst best intentions at this time would suggest that "a beer" would be true reward and enough after a handicap ride - as a regular tail end Charlie, I find that a 'few' beers helps with motivation and in a strange non medical kind of way, hydrates me..
