Still only showing 3 riders in the classification for last nights TTT, along with Stuart who did it earlier in the day.

Come on bkool, get your fingers out!

Are the others showing the rides in their Home pages?

Geoff
It's not showing in my Homepage Geoff - it is showing at the top of my "History" tab in the "My Activity" section but it's greyed out - not sure I've ever seen that before?

Well done all on your January Chaingang results.
1st AAAC
2nd Bridgy
So no surprises there.

I've been somewhat distracted by unforeseen events recently but normal service will soon be resumed. I'm thinking we can have a blast at WC stage 9 on Thursday although it is rather a short stage so maybe we can tag on another short session too.
Could we maybe do both stage 8 and 9 with a short break in between, as they are both short stages - 11km for stage 9 and only 8.6km for stage 8 (although I appreciate stage 8 is a bit slower despite being shorter)?

Good practice for the back to back rides for the Nations Cup!!

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your message. All the sessions received will appear in your History in a light grey colour until they are actually processed. Once processed they will show normally and you will be able to check all the details.

See you at Bkool,

I can say that stage 8 is relentless climbing. The initial climbs are 10% to 14% average with a 17+% thrown in for fun. My tip would be to use Jacobs ghost for the initial 2km downhill and you will average around 65kph without having to work too hard- he doesn't really power away from the start too much so easy to get on his tail.
As for then doing stage 9 afterwards.... you kids are crazy!

Ah, maybe too much to do both then - stage 8 doesn't look that steep on the profile on bkool but that does explain the much slower speeds than stage 9!

I'd still probably want to do more than just stage 9 personally though as it only took 13 minutes

Thanks Jim. I wonder what Elvira (cool name!) means by "processed" though?! Normally they just instantly show in the history...

This sounds like an excellent plan. Would you be okay with us doing stage 9 first then stage 8 second?
Something along the lines of 10 min warmup, Stage 9, 5 min break, 10 min warmup, stage 8.
I'm guessing stage 9 is the one that most haven't done (including me) so would like to be fresh for that one.

I'm happy to go with a vote on which we do first, and would certainly like to improve on my stage 8 time so don't really mind which we do first.

I really like Bkool it's brought a lot of enjoyment to turbo training and introduced me to you fine folks however, a large part of the enjoyment for me is to be able to upload my local rides (or other .gpx routes) and have them converted to 3D. It's just better than map route.. over recent weeks Bkool hasn't been accepting my uploads - either manually or from my Garmin, and for quite some time, they haven't been converting to 3D. Anyway, I decided to send Bkool a message to ask them when it was going to be fixed... the reply I received was nothing short of bullshento.. for your delectation I herewith share with you Bkool's response.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your message. To get a track converted to 3D, it must be shorter than 60 km, up to 15% slope and have consistent gradients.

See you at Bkool,

That's it, the full response, Bkool customer service at its best..

I responded with examples of routes I had completed that had been converted to 3D in excess of 60km and included a route that was pan flat, under 60k and wasn't converted.

I haven't received a response..

I don't think it will stop me re-newing my subscription in April but it's bloody annoying the way they bullsh1t.... two emails in two days both talking ballx... sorry, I'm really vexed....

In the meantime I still await last nights TTT to be 'processed' ..

Rant over... I'll get mi coat...

Excellent ranting skill Jim

Sometimes I pity their customer service department as they're in a tricky spot but the responses they come back with leave you with the impression they couldn't really give a sh!t...
