Bridgy and DP-cracking rides boys!
I can stand up but do still get some slippage on the steeper bits. I only tend to stand to power up a short, steep section to save changing to the small front ring - longer climbs I stay seated. I have to try and keep my weight as far back as possible to keep the weight on the rear roller which is a bit unnatural!
It's a Continental Grand Prix 4000S which I'm currently using - it's always had a slightly sticky feel, but I think more so recently.
Thanks for highlighting my large arse AAAC, this is balanced by my large gut though...I hear DP keeps his weight back as far as possible hence his success on the turbo.
... and I have to sit down as standing up just leads to slippage....![]()

You may be on the main road but you're still never far from the gutter!17:30 and we're in the gutter already!
Time for a quick bunny hop back onto the main road.

Ah no mate, your poor vanMy recent venture into the gutter was quite messy! This is the reason for my lack of participation recently.....Just glad my bike wasn't in the back! Based on this photo....apparently they can fix it!! Harry Potter has obviously found work after filming I can only assume! View attachment 336513
Thanks mate, yes it's fair to say that went well! Either my fitness has improved or bkool's started being really kind to me since the last update!Another great ride I see from @bridgy, this man's on fire....
