Bkool have been evading questions about whether or not they will open up their trainer to allow people to use Zwift. I'd say they wont, as then people will just drop Bkool and use Zwift if its half decent. Bkool is just too messy (thats my finding after 10 days with it). Although very motivating compared to normal trainers I just get the feeling Zwift will raise the stakes further and have a far bigger following. Will the new Swift software work with the Bkool? I thought book was a closed system, If thats the case it will be pretty annoying
to be honest i could only stand up where it wasnt so steep - the back half kept on going down to 6%ish so i stood up for them bits - to give my back half a bit of a break !Did you stand up for a lot of that Alpe run Berty?
because your always streets ahead of life like riders !Probably its me that's misunderstood. I think I've only used 3d mode twice and that was for the "Cycling around the world" League that some of us are/were in. I didn't realise there was the potential to see other life like riders in that. Apart from that I've only used map mode or film mode.
I cant see how they could stop you using Zwift to be honest, after all its only the dongle that talks between the software and the trainer, I don't see how Bkool could block it.Bkool have been evading questions about whether or not they will open up their trainer to allow people to use Zwift. Did anyone get an email from Bkool recently saying that more trainers are now compatible with Bkool? I must have deleted mine and I cant find out info on which ones were mentioned.
Zwift answered a message to say that bkool is closed to them, unless they decide to adhere fully to ant+ in some way. They currently don't in order to keep it closed to other software.Well they say it should work with any turbo's so if it does and the software's better than Bkool I will be kicking Bkool into touch pretty quick.
They have a good product but have spoilt it with bad

If its good I will drop Bkool like a stone, their concept is good but there is way to many things bad with their software.
I have not received an email from them on that topic anyway BF.

Yes Bill! I was racing against your ghost on BKool. As long as you are in 3D mode and have been through set up, adding whoever you want to pitch yourself against, they will appear on your screen. Make sure you have unchecked solo mode too, on BSim.
It'll be soon enough, believe me. Actually, I've hit a wall and can't seem to get faster than this. Bkool says I have to make 333 watts for half an hour to move to Active 10 and right now I don't see it happening. Started Bkool at Amateur4 after my first ride then moved fairly quickly to where I am now. Now been stuck here for weeks.Bloody hell Bill! There's flames up that hill now! Good effort! When I grow up, I want to be like you!
I think that's what we should try to do. Anyone who's late can choose to start at the beginning or start behind the last guy I think..So on Thursday night do we all have to log on at the same time and then wait for the warm up to end or exactly how do we start at precisely the same time?
