I put a bungy under the Trainer, and hooked it onto either side of the clamping mechanism. Reduced spin out on the steep bits tenfold. It really helped keep the wheel in good contact with the roller. Nothing more soul destroying than wasted effort on a climb like that.

Are you guys getting wheel spin even when you're in sitting position? I only get it when out of the saddle so I try to avoid that if possible.

I get it when I stand so I lean back and look stupid....seems to work though.
I keep getting emails saying people have posted a comment on my wall post but when I click on the link to see it, it takes me to my profile. Even when I go to my main page I don't see any new comments, is it just me or anyone getting this?

Funnily enough, I just reported this to Bkool about an hour ago. This happens if you click the link in the email, or the See All link on a comment.

I've decided to just routinely report all the broken links on the site, in the vain hope that they might make an effort to fix some of them.

So its not just me then...good I thought Microsoft explorer was playing up. Can you see the messages from your home screen though Geoff? I only ever see 2 comments, then when you select the "see all" button I get nothing.

Have any of you been keeping an eye on zwift? If it is implemented half as good as it seems to be it may deal a severe blow to bkool.

I only get spin if I am out of the seat too. But I pretty much did the Alpe run standing up the whole way. Wouldn't have got anywhere near that time if I had been sat down.

And I am getting the wall message thing too. I got a notification to say that both Runexeter and Berty left comments on it yesterday, but I can only see Exeters. So if Berty did leave one, there is a glitch. And yes 'See All' should say 'See the Same'!

And Geoff, do you find that the contact us link, doesn't confirm that your mail has been sent? I can never tell if it has gone or not. I too, have started sending error reports, in the hope that they continue to improve the site.

They truly have the foundations of something great here, I just hope they have the reserve and determination to finish what they have started.

Just looked at Zwift too. I could see me getting into that once it's up and running. The gaming side of it could be really something. Maybe even see lifelike virtual riders on screen rather than slow moving blip at the bottom of the screen.

Forgive me if I misunderstand, but this is already true for Bkool in 3D mode. Tuck in behind an opponent and try to avoid staring at their (pixel) bot (pun intended) just like on the road!

Probably its me that's misunderstood. I think I've only used 3d mode twice and that was for the "Cycling around the world" League that some of us are/were in. I didn't realise there was the potential to see other life like riders in that. Apart from that I've only used map mode or film mode.
