Nah, it makes a basic yoghurt..
It all depend on the culture you use, I was using Bulgarian one..
I may still have some sachets..
nice thick and a tart taste, excellent mixed with a berry compote (frozen summer berries from land of ice(bought on a Tuesday)), mixed into Weetabix and corn flakes with added milk..No2 breakfast after you know what..
West coast of Scotland, worth a look...big hanger not bult by the RAF..

Basic apple and banana flavoured that sort of yoghurt.
You have used it then, or were it a case of "what'll happen with this lot?" experiment.
All boils down to yer breeding then.

Wary of video reviews, as its a case of what of what are they getting from it.
Not looking to take it out and about, more a backup for when the bad weather hits.

You'll be wide awake soon, if a certain person arrives.

Just about to watch Fred but looking at his review of the XHData 808 first...
Did I link to the wrong Raddy radio?

The one you linked has airband, it depends what you want out of it...
I'm leaning more to the XHdata 808 as it suits me more.. unfortunately no SW antenna (SMA connection), has a plug one though....
the battery issue in the 808 follow up video isn't in imho a factor....
But for that price and it suits your needs, why not?

For video reviews, Fred is okay..
You soon get to know who is worth watching, too many folk try to hard to impress.
Tech Minds is good too...
Once again, plenty reviews about...
If for inside only, have a look at SDR.. no fancy looks just a small black plastic box(see below), add a Youloop antenna.. which I use for my air band reception.. it's 60cm diameter plus you'd need a length of coax, youloop at window works well, mines is in the loft but connectors are SMA, I use RG6 coax but its F connectors so I have to use adaptors though you could get RG58 with SMA at both ends....
I use SDRplay SDRs, obviously need a laptop or tower to use it..
mouse does all your work....
but it covers from 22 KHZ to 2 Ghz,
a learning curve and masses of online reviews .
Free software to use is SDRplay SDRuno........

Good reviews...on the big river reviews, I always read the reviews as they are verified purchasers in most cases, you always get some folk expecting too much for the money,
TBH the MIL look would have put me off but in this case seems okay..
Not much between that and the XHdata 808 which just looks like the Sony I have from many moons ago..

What'd you think of the one you were looking at.
Not certain. Link I put in doesn't work at present.
Looking at the airband just to listen in to some of the overhead traffic. The radio as a whole for a fallback should the power go.

I always wonder what they're getting out of the review. Having seen people "reviewing" an item to review, I'm dubious.
Advert for the one I linked to popped up, and I had a quick look.
Rules out the SDR, mainly because I'll not be lugging any PC/laptop around with me.

Never got as far as the Big River reviews.
Expecting nowt other than a multiband radio that works, isn't too bulky and is easy use.

I've no problem with a few of those on the Toob reviewing stuff as it's easy to get other opinions online regarding operating etc..
It is down to the moolah you want to spend in the end....

You ever try what she's doing and fall asleep during the day, without getting told off.

Not much marine traffic round these parts. 60 miles either way to the sea. Oh I know there's other stuff out there to listen into. I've long since got fed up of radios that can't take a knock, or if they can they're too big.
Moolah spending, as little as I can get away with. Easy say, harder to actually define.

You actually talked radio at the scout hall! Was that a first?

I can get some but restricted by location..
should really listen more...
Hams are boring TBH :laugh: :laugh:
Still, if you look still lots about..
although a lot have gone digital...
I'm looking at a basic Uniden as youngest Mhor has my handheld.
Differing reports of frequencies covered, but general coverage isn't really needed nowadays.
We'll see...
Radio chat does break out occasionally..
