the one I've done (da King) is just under 6cm in height,
considering an extra 25%,
the neck seems to be a weak point so larger should help...

Why are tomatoes tasteless nowadays?
We've bought the cheapest, the dearest in almost every supermarket, veg and fruit shops and they just are like a ball of poorly flavoured water.
I've had the odd tasty one but going back the following week say it was on the vine, they'd be back to bland...
you see the displays in every supermarket, fruit the same colour, shape and size..
doing away with flavour for 'looking nice' (and most likely, higher yield)
I've even tried wonky ones...

It didn't look like a bishop because it is the King.. silly Bob
I'm not sure its big enough for the board, slightly bigger perhaps?

Base is 2.5cm across so 1.25% would be 3.125 cm..
Once the gruesome twosome have woken I'll run one off to see..

I haven't checked the pawns yet, might print one tomorrow..
the pawns are half the height apparently...
I might forget this idea..

I used another SD card and reformatted it,
I had previously had another file which when I tried to print it, it wouldn't do anything so with the reformatting you'd expect a clean card..
I put the 125% file on it, nothing else except a folder which was on the original SD card I got with the printer..
It started okay but after some layers it turned to 'spaghetti' BUT half way through it started printing the deleted file and did so much before I stopped it., weird.
Now dumped...

More likely it was corrupted and the format never repaired it,
it did warn before I did it that it would wipe everything but must have forgot that bit
I could do gold Santas for pressies..
save a few quid.....

More than me anyway, couldn't play if my life depended on it.
There's that personal touch you give, that can't be got from a shop bought set.

Suppose it'd be for the best. Yer jaw would drop when you see the prices.
You can buy 3D printed santa's, in Gold Silk! The bottom has just dropped out of your prospective market in that case.
Fair enough, always thought the recommended way of formatting was in another device. You gave the desktop a slap for not doing it's job right.
