We have water.....
In the words of Gloria 'I will survive'
(I hope)..a balmy Mediterranean feel at 7.1c here at the Towers..
24 hrs time...:cold: they say..
Electric blanket on the sun lounger..
Sorry, heated throws now, blankets are naff..

No Shake n Vac here, just Bob boogieing..
Love me some fiery ginger beer (with lime juice and dark rum).
Porridge incoming in three..two...one hours
It gets bad, you can always melt some snow.
If it's as bad as they're predicting, will you be walking out the door...
A wet and warmer start to the day here.
24 little hours, then back to sub-zero. Who gets the electric throw. Or will it be 50p in the meter then swap.

Causing the youngest to wonder what you're doing. And not able to ask either!
Ginger beer and rum, odd tastes up there...
You had yer porridge now?

You go into spoons!
Green beer, was it safe to drink.
You'll know where they all are soon at this rate...
Coffee stop?
Maybe that's what your expected to think.

A chill upstairs. isn't that where your room is.
Not a Clancy Brothers in sight.
You don't feel the cold, and wonder why everyone else moans about it being cold when it drops into single figures temperature wise.
They'll thank you when they're able.

You, the weather or the drink?
Medicinal purposes?
I'll believe you.

Can understand the cheap and cheerful part, but endless coffee and you having money left over. I've struggled to even get a cuppa in their places.
You're not a big eater then.
Rather you than me with the green can.

Used to, what stopped her.
She knitted yours?
Has she had a go at trying to get you going.

Thought as much.
Could lead to you burping though.

We'll see if they've got it right this time.
Alert last night saying that the snow would stop in a few hours. We had none at the time, so couldn't see it stopping.

Slightly warmer here, but falling. We'll see.
4am or 5am you'll be wrapped up in your nice warm bed. Won't you?

Ginger gives you arthritis...
That hand crafted look that you can't say no to, without upsetting someone.
Very much doubt it, up there near you or down here. Too warm at present.

Nice and comfy?
Didn't get much colder here last night, and no snow during the early hours either.
And you'd to leave yer nice warm pit to feed the printer.
Here's to her feeling better soon. Nowt to do with the snow no longer being there, is it.
You go get yerssen that second cuppa, you've earned it.
Porridge and no beer! Go on strike until yer demands are met...

nah, beer is only for trips to spoons at that early time of morning, well, mid morning actually.
Yep, it's been busy with various little things although doing a 5 hour job the noo.
Letter press thingies with the letters of her real name..
doing the six letters at once,
they are getting tall so maybe best to have tried one first..
On the last printer they would have messed up before now, still 80 mins to go...
think most of my problems were levelling the bed last time, this one does it for you...
I'll have a look later and see if anything else for her available.
I have some embossed rollers for her which should really be enough.
Wee sister here today....
Owdo
It dropped below freezing up there...

Up at almost 5c the noo..with rain forecast
WX pleasant out..
did some trimming back of frost blootered plants..

Bet you don't have yer porridge at spoons.
Keeping you busy as well.
All separate so she can practice her spelling.
You didn't like that printer really, did you.
The rollers should be enough for now. Otherwise what'll you give her later.
Nice and quiet?

Not long asleep at that time. Forecast snow was a no show.
Middlin here for the time o'year though.
Did it leave you with much.

Oh no, hand made by Bob....
Aye, she's content just to drink milk and sleep...
Plenty for her to mash the playdoh with.
We've had 3.6mm of rain, temp just over 4c...

I'll finish the garden tomorrow

Do spoons do porridge?
On the bottle and sleeping...
And that mashing the playdoh is the important bit, for her.
No rain here, warming slightly again as the night progresses.

Anything else that needs doing?
