You'll still be around at the end of the guarantee period.

That's one reason I stick to corded vacs. The batterries/chargers aren't cheap replace if they stop working.
Brekkie and a pint cheaper, we talking just the replacement battery? The old un wants to show you its not ready for the scrapheap just yet. Not whilst there's a newer one hanging around at least.

There's little moving around down these parts. What is moving has increased speed with the snow going, and very little on the roads. Someone is going to get hurt.

We've an old upright corded one but I think all the seals are perished, it still picks up great through the hose and attachment but not as sookie through the main pickup...cordless has enough power to do so much at a time as we do different areas every day.

Cars occasionally passing the Towers but folk sensibly staying home, still snow about even with 17mm of rain but possible quite a bit if snow melt...
Been a productive day..
made a batch of Bob's Famous Bolognese....
the smell of bleach is in the air
Tomorrow the same except something in the cake line:ohmy:
Settled for the evening...

Still prefer a corded vac though. No battery to source to replace, then order. The cordless vac is now being consigned to the dump, at less than two years, as the battery no longer charges and they no longer make either the vac or battery. So much for a two year guarantee!

Quiet outside, with very little moving, buses have stopped running. Intermittent power outages since five this evening. They seem to have it fixed for now.
Do you deliver?
Minus the smell of bleach of course.
17mm of cakefall tomorrow.
You certain you're not running a business?
A "Bobs Buns" vans seen not that long ago go on the main road.
Refreshments and TV remote to hand...

No ice or snow left. That's Toodles window seat vacant for now then.
You're sat in shorts and t-shirt now things are back to normal weatherwise?
All eaten in house, so you don't have delivery issues.
They're no relation to yourself, that yer aware of. Or are they on a branch as yet untouched by you.

Don't the neighbours mind yer early starts.
Whose playing who where?

Murrayfield..I'm assuming it is on..
Neighbours won't hear me, I think.
No deliveries planned unless what I'm looking for drops in price..
I better get back to 'no bleach today' work..
The Boss will be watching my teabreak time,
no sympathy for the over 70s

Will you be watching or just listening?
Not waking them up early on a Sunday then, as far as you know.
Odd for a sale in that prices seemed to have been pushed up this year. Always thought they brought them down in the sales. Very little chance of that happening this year methinks.
Out and about with yer new vacuum cleaner and dusters.
Invite her to yer partake at the same time as yourself. A chance to show just what you do.
Old age is pushed back further every year.

Toob night, catching up on new videos.

Preparing for Storm Toodles and her wee sister tomorrow...
I may appear or run off my feet....

Was the result to your satisfaction?
Just don't mix the two, you'll end up with two ruined drinks in one undrinkable concoction.
How can a Belgian beer be brewed and bottled in Glasgow. Trading Standards should be all over it.
Anything in particular?

Bert came and went, not doing as much as was promised, now see how "Tornado Toodles" and Co do...
Not appear run off yer feet!
Yer'll survive, probably...

Of course, The Aussies got put to the claymore....
Most previously imported beers are brewed (badly) in the UK..
It does say on the label brewed to a Belgian recipe and for once, it's a refreshing draught...660 ml bottle which appeals as well..
I already have to 'replace' a couple of bottles'

Thought I'd think about having a go at a chess set.....with a twist
Black and gold pieces....
Unusual pieces..
I have a wooden chessboard so will have to resize the files..
I printed a king to see how and if it sits on the board...tomorrow.

ah tomorrow..
this'll be fun..
oh well, rest needed.

And did they fare any better in the game before the claymores came out.
It's not Belgian beer, more a copy made nearer you.
Bottle a bit on the big side compared to most these days.
You don't want being snowed in with no supplies, get replacements as soon as yer able...

And you've already got yer hands on the files required.
How unusual are the pieces?
Do you intend using the set, or is it more a decorative piece?

You'll enjoy yerself, don't fret.
See, fun time tomorrow...
Before, during or after?

He's gone, winds to 26km and just over 2 mm of rain

Don't fancy blue though, black and gold I thought
BUT I can't play Chess:laugh:
I may have adjust the size....
the one I've done (da King) is just under 6cm in height,
considering an extra 25%,
the neck seems to be a weak point so larger should help...

Off to prepare and eat..
better hope Goldilocks ain't paid a visit...
