Well why sell you a keyfob, if they can sell you a car instead. Which will come with a new keyfob...
Gone are the days of a simple key it seems. "Fobbing Off" seems to Bethe next best thing.
Yer getting rid! Does Da Boss know what yer planning?
Will Polly will fit in the replacement...
You posted the video, are you thinking of giving it a go. Now you've picked your spot.
No flurries here, getting cooler though. Below freezing for the last hour or more.
Young 'Un ready for the snow?
Are you ready for Tuesday!
Sithi
OwdoMorning

You'll not be venturing out then I take.Aye, all wrapped up well..
I stuck the heating on....
-2.8c overnight, everything that icy white out..
Nah, I can't be faffed with all that sitting around, he did it with his own car..
scanner with close call could work to get the frequency..
Aye, Mrs M thinks Polly will fit much easier.....
not that it's done much.
Food: check, drink ; check..
aye, okay
Owdo
"They", who are "they" that appear to be braver than you?
You'll not be venturing out then I take.
You've gotta protect the system, last thing you want is a burst pipe.
No more flurries, just a wee frost.
Thought you'd have tried it just as something to pass the time whilst waiting. Idle hands and all that...
You'll have fewer excuses if it does fit better. Lift out, cycle home when we get the finer weather.
Batteries, for TV remote...
Yer picking up a trick or two, not radio connected, from yer visits to the scout hut.
Big shock!!I did venture out *shockerooni*
to see how the bypass road is getting on next our houses, doesn't take these folk long, should be ready in August they say.
I took a round about (geddit?) way home through the nearby wood..
not a bird in sight, none, niet, nil..
that's strange in an old established wood....
noticed this before, small birds can be known to lie low in icy weather..
anyhoo..
temps just up with the sun, topped 3.6c but now 1.6c, MO yellow snow warning for ra morra and now another MO wx warning for ice on Wed...
Beag out, Toodles in later...
Big shock!!
Were you pushed or did you get fed up of staring at the ceiling.
What's this new road actually bypassing.
Hope yer planning on putting it back.
None here yesterday. Maybe they're flying south, where it might be warmer.
Nature has strange ways...
Above freezing, only just though, here, if you get into the sun. It's a "Mo forecast" yer using. Yer'll be housebound in that case due to snow.
Will you have time to recover between visits?
Owdo to you up there from me down here.Good morning
the latest from the weather man
Will it snow? will it rain lightly for two three hours here at the Tower?
Will Toodles get home tonight?
The Old Rugged Cross!Bypassing the local Cross,
it'll save us some time..
it was first proposed in '73
Got to almost -3c just over an hour ago..
Fcast keeps changing, we'll see.
Some one spilled some icing sugar but it soon disappeared.Owdo to you up there from me down here.
He were late for these parts, snowfall since around 05:00 this morning.
Must be getting on for all of 1/2 inch deep now.
Any around The Towers yet.
Toodles will be staying at yours tonight.
Extension to the local track, mixed use to near the Falkirk Wheel road,The Old Rugged Cross!
Money well spent then. Two or three minutes, which.
They probably don't like to rush into things. 51 years ain't that bad.
Dropped below that late last night, warmed during the night, with snow on the ground, replacing the frost, around five.
The Mo cast you had were right, the council cast were wrong.
Still here, want some? Some one spilled some icing sugar but it soon disappeared.
It started as i was wheeling the buggy back home....
basically never showed anything but not forecast to return 8-9 tonight....
Extension to the local track, mixed use to near the Falkirk Wheel road,
all sorts of work taking place since before I arrived here, threw some aggregates down on a 3/4 mile stretch and new gates then nothing...sadly the Beeching effect kicks in, the ******** demolished almost every bridge on the lines he closed.
Still here, want some?
Just the buggy, not Toodles in the buggy
Going the opposite way here. If the forecast is to be believed.
How long has that wheel been there now.
Some lines still visible round here. Queensbury Triangle being the one that's hit the headlines
All sorts of stuff promised for round here, still waiting for it.
Line into an old brewery still visible, and they're looking at reopening it.
Keeps on trying to snow, but I think it's now too cold for snow. Unless it warms up. Hovering around the minus 3°C mark. Slightly colder with the breeze. All gone plus like a skating rink out..
temps have to plummet for a few days..
Yep, young 'un being chauffeured around.
Threw a wobbler so back home..
guess she wasn't enamoured with the cold..
now back home....
They've removed rails and sleepers but local one is a track from the town for a couple of miles but will have to cross over a motorway, back of skip site and a viaduct or more the supports (saw someone on them a couple of years ago allegedly checking condition of), another couple of mile before roundabout where a side road heads to the canal and a car park for the wheel, millennium apparently.
Amazing bit of kit to watch.
You pay, they take you up then a 300m journey to a turning area then reverse journey to base.

You were left at home, to fend for herself!
She's not amused by your face pulling abilities anymore...
You weren't sitting in front of the fire letting no-one else get any heat, were you.
You're planning on having one last drive in the current car, along the old line, before it goes.
If that's the workaround route by road, it sounds like one to avoid at certain times of the day.
Local viaduct has had it's inspection last September/October. After they'd finished building the houses underneath it, and folk moving in.
They went below the river height to allow a flat drive into the houses.
Watch is all I'm able to do. Seen it a few times on the telly. From the ground, and from the boaters point of view.
Nearest thing like it, for canals, here would be Five Rise Locks at Bingley.
