Quite a few stopped buying it..
sadly as said before anywhere which could pour a decent pint you could tell, first look in a new pub was a check what beer was being drunk..
the amount of pubs selling poorly poured beer would amaze, I can't remember last time in a pub..

At the Hut earlier...
good night and was later than normal going home..
time for Zebedee to appear i think..

4.1c just now although at 8 it was white on the ground with frost.
Who knows at dawn...
busy start to tomorrow..
British Cyclocross championships just along the road tomorrow for the weekend but will have to find out if it's live on't telly.
Pip of Toodle..
Sadly too many are willing to accept a bad pint these days, some may know nowt else though, in their quest to get drunk as quick as possible.
Reduces the standards at the bar though.
In a "restaurant" last night, and was told to return to my table. He'd be along shortly, half an hour later he turned up by which time the drink was just a memory.

Maybe it'll continue into the year, with some new blood joining.
You at the biscuits again, hence the late departure...

It's had a few attempts at trying to snow here this evening, along with a breeze lowering it further.
What's happening at dawn?
Yer off on yer travels again.
You don't fancy going to see it live, on the road as it happens!

I honestly just have a glass or maybe two at home now...
consistency of the pour and my own company does me now
PLUS I can watch what I want and when..
the only fun about a pub would be watching how people act with varying amounts of alcohol...
and the only grief you get here is if you take the wrong flavour of crisps:laugh:

Four or five going through their basic licence level exam shortly,
I think or I know it would take me a miracle to pass the full one now...
just as well it is for life...

Snow forecast for Tuesday according to the telly wx man, up to 4 cm apparently

Yer in good company...
Doesn't the boss mind you sending her out?
There is that bit. Not all can drink what they think.
Ready Salted or Cheese and Onion

And you were helping them?
They're missing a trick there, annual testing for which there's a fee payable.

"Severe weather alert" issued for Thursday and Saturday of next week, by the council!

Does getting two done get you a discount. Just fitted! Makes it sound a fair size print.
If you got then up on the wall, how would she reach them?
Have you managed to increase your speed round the house yet, to keep up with her.

Hovering either side of zero at present, but expecting it to drop until the sun reappears again.
Smokey Bacon and other "meat flavours" are suitable for vegans. How'd they manage that?

Never said they should do annual testing, just they're missing a trick, and cash, in not doing it.

Two separate prices....
It's bringing them back in the car, not much room in our toatty wee car.
Yeah, I'd just go 'freebanding'

Thought you had a Chrysler Cruiser, which ain't exactly small.
Could you be strapped to the roof and hold them on the trip home.
Is freebanding similar to pirate radio. I mean who does anything free these days!

Chevy Spark..

When you fit two kids seats..
not much if any space in the back..
They got slated by the motoring press here..
this wee thing has over 161,000 miles on the clock, passed every MOT (odd bulb needing replaced)
only problem we have had is the keys..
Mrs M has to hold the original fob near where she turns the key..
exhaust has a sporty sound (need a bandage or one bit replaced)
and we got it cheap as chips, it owes us nothing...

Aye, pirate, arrrr me hearties.

Rum do weatherwise. Two days earlier than the council forecast, issued for round these parts.
You have hatches to batten down. If not I know where you can get some.

Now wondering why I thought you'd a Chrysler Cruiser. Your "street cred" has however just taken a tumble. I've been picturing you sat in the back, tinted windows, as "Da Boss" chauffeurs you around.
Put the kids seats on the roof, the fresh air'll do them good. They'll no doubt enjoy their lofty view point as well.
Looks a neat little car, if its a little car you want. Not everyone wants/requires a big car.
I'm sure you could sort out the key fob problem if you'd a little tinkering time.
Gone are the days of using just keys to get into and driving off in a car.
The key fob you had allowed you drive away someone else's car? Can't get much cheaper than free.

Heartless as far as chocolate and "supplies" go.

We've been down the key fob route,
I've a pal who is in the parts dept of Scotland's largest car business and he couldn't source them and we got it from them..
Got referred to different key fob specialists and ended up getting one key cut that actually worked..
copies of original key blade never worked, believe it or not.
Anyway water under the bridge, it would have cost more than the car is worth to replace everything.

Aaprt from being a bit noisy at speed, this wee thing has been my Mrs fave car of all time....
I can see heartache as it goes away.
I could take front wheel off Polly and squeeze her in.
Very economical too.
Looking forward to the Clio though, we had bought one of the first Renault 5 which spawned the Clio...
no advert quips..

Did I post the you tube video with the bloke finding out his key frequency and blocking it with a handheld radio ? think I did, I could have fun in supermarket car parks LOL

Toodlepip, oh we had a flurry or two late afternoon and Beag arrived early as it was snowing up at his house.. off now and never came to anything but yellow alert in place for Tuesday..

Well why sell you a keyfob, if they can sell you a car instead. Which will come with a new keyfob...
Gone are the days of a simple key it seems. "Fobbing Off" seems to Bethe next best thing.

Yer getting rid! Does Da Boss know what yer planning?
Will Polly will fit in the replacement...

You posted the video, are you thinking of giving it a go. Now you've picked your spot.

No flurries here, getting cooler though. Below freezing for the last hour or more.
Young 'Un ready for the snow?
Are you ready for Tuesday!
