Minus 1.5 just now (22.19)
F/cast was to be as low as -7c carrying on tomorrow through the day, next few days looking chilly.

I was left in charge...
we headed down the road to supermarket, I'd no fiery lashings of left..
Thankfully granny appeared soon

Oh well, trouble back tomorrow...
We keep on having snow flurries.
Was to be, they've changed their minds?
Council were caught out. A fair few roads weren't gritted until early this morning. They should give up the forecasting lark, they're not very good at it.
You got the grit for yer path and drive ready no doubt.

"We headed down to the supermarket". Who else were with you, not the Young Un. What'd he get?
At home or the supermarket, before you got to the paying at the checkout.

You'll survive...
Hopefully.

Just the two of you?
Any easier/quicker in the colder weather.
Nothing for Toodles! No wonder she didn't want to stay. Pushing her past all that stuff in the supermarket and she got nothing.
What were the flowers for, you'd not done summat you shouldn't have.

To be repeated tomorrow. Hope you're getting out in that nice fresh air.

Similar here, sunshine and clear skies, but not the same as summer months.
Summer, you don't tend to get snow.
I'll try...

Sun has popped its rays onto the Towers
and put temp up to just above freezing..

No need to buy them just a gesture..

We have a yellow wind alert for Sunday...
from strong freeze to strong breeze.

Just had an email from something I throw an odd couple of quid occasionally,
is it spam, is it a real one?
you can't really tell nowadays,
cursor over the links and they seem okay but who knows..
anyhow I previously asked this lot for no contact..
Fired off a mail to them to let them know in case but obviously too late if a scam....

The things I've 'won' lately, cruises, Temu pallets, all sorts of tools, holidays even Oral B toothbrushes..
what happened to the send us your details and we'll deposit 3 or 4 million US dollars in yer bank account ?

And yer basking in its warmth?
Outside!

Not heard of any similar warning for here.
You having beans on Saturday and Sunday then.

Keep on getting similar "from Currys". Trouble is they don't seem very bothered.
I've told them(currys) to stop, so i'm now treating any that arrive as spam, and reporting them as such.

It's free double glazing(show house), machine tools. No toothbrushes or cruises though.
Think it might be the fact that a "prize" waiting to be collected gets some people reacting without thinking. Having to enter details is slower.

I was for the short time it floods inside the shack window...
short lived unfortunately.

Might fry then with some chopped up bacon..
quick cook of bacon then add beans, not too much oil though...
fry until bean sauce starts to stick to frying pan
delicious on lightly buttered pieces of Scots plain bread..

Another culinary genius tip by Bob :okay:
I've started to block then as soon as it gets beyond a joke, why not just ask your preference, say a weekly, fortnightly or monthly email, that way everyone gets their preference, I don't even mind weekly ones....

Around the 3/4 hour mark, at present then. Just picturing you sunning yerself.

Let us know, before it happens, if the wind will blow.
What do you suggest as a substitute for the buttered Scots plain bread? The butter, not a problem, the Scots bread is.
Might give your latest culinary tip a shot.

I don't think they're bothered how often they send them out. They'll have a target to hit, just like every other department. I just wish they'd respect what you've asked for. Two or three in the same afternoon shows a lack of planning on their part.

Keep warm... :hello:

move to the Algarve..
Mrs M once famously said,
'we could retire here'
as we sat on the beach in Armaceo De Pera..(??)

I remind her often
It's not too bad at present, only about three below...

You'd have missed the snow and the cold though.
Anyway, you'd never have managed the heat. Then there's the increasing seismic activity in that region. Not to mention...

How often are you within striking distance, or the same room, when you remind her?

All well and good saying its a culinary delight, presumably you're saying there is no alternative for it.
We have square sausages down here as well. At one time you could buy square hard boiled eggs in the local market from the same place as yer square sausages.

Toasted roll, not very well done?

Minus five was around the midnight hour. Not expected to get above freezing today.
Woken up yet now you've had yer coffee
