temps have dropped although the usual boost when the sun swings round the yardarm...

Online shopping. I thought you'd bought it from a real shop. Who then wanted to charge you an eye-watering(extending pocket) price.
No shady dealings?

Or the view looking at where you were, including your route up.

I priced it online and as we were doing nuttin' nipped over and just got shop to order it..
funnily came from another supplier who were asking for 8 quids more plus postage..
Etsy print was online..
saves hauling ones butt around the Lakes looking for something (mind you, a good excuse to head down)
sadly the easiest way to shop right now...
certain things are still bought offline, furniture, household goods and clothes.

Maybe, but think of the view from the top you're missing. Unless it's normal weather, in which case no view.

It’s Baltic methinks! Just about to find out as I’m heading out for a wander. Been up for ages as I couldn’t sleep.

We saw a programme '100 best UK walks (or was it GB?) and I missed the earlier ones but Mrs M quite liked the scenery so....
we'd been at Saundersfoot one year with the kids..
an unusual one as most hols we had we did in threes, the other two of this lot was spent in the Emerald Isle....

We saw a programme '100 best UK walks (or was it GB?) and I missed the earlier ones but Mrs M quite liked the scenery so....
we'd been at Saundersfoot one year with the kids..

First one sounds like a book title, so highly plausible your thinking may be correct.
Have you no decent scenery on yer own doorstep so to speak? Or are you saving that for day trips and overnighters.
You saw the sea, wondered what were on the other side, then went off to find out. What's odd about that?
Was that yer introduction to Guinness?

It's served in most pubs but 5% (at the best) know how to pour it.
these places were treasured..
I baulk from buying it until I found out if it was server correctly...
last place was the golfie bar but manager left and only one lass could still pour it then she left and I wonder if they noticed the sales of it falling like a stone..

we have friends in the Lakes so an excuse to nip down and see them plus I get to play radio from the tops..
have you ever looked at the accommodation prices up here ?
family member got quoted 130 a night and for what she described as somebodies spare room..
before I retired I planned a round Jockland by bus,
with accommodation I decided never mind the Med, I could have gone anywhere in the world for a fortnight cheaper (almost)
free buses, if I could have roughed it ? no problem but I've grown soft

Quite a few stopped buying it..
sadly as said before anywhere which could pour a decent pint you could tell, first look in a new pub was a check what beer was being drunk..
the amount of pubs selling poorly poured beer would amaze, I can't remember last time in a pub..

4.1c just now although at 8 it was white on the ground with frost.
Who knows at dawn...
busy start to tomorrow..
British Cyclocross championships just along the road tomorrow for the weekend but will have to find out if it's live on't telly.
