There's a few towns with castles up near you though.

You deep fry yer black pudding!
Have you no decency, no taste?
We, outside of the US, seem to have to make do with second best. Overnight over there, how many would be using their computers.
Were ahead on the rain front, by a fair margin today.

You'll be going "hunting" tomorrow?

Bleedin' castles everywhere to be fair..
road signs to a well kent battle but when you get there it's quiet..
not even a breach of the peace:eek:

we have a blank so far on precipitation..
off to the same place again soon..

Good morning :hello:
Thor's day again, binmen are early..
I'd love the job of glass collection, out very early and smashing glass wakening the punters:laugh:
Owdo
It's a bit "Last of The Summer Wine outside" at present.
Binmen and early would put them around 10am on the scheduled day round here.
There's getting paid to do it as well, another bonus.

Most round these parts had the demolition mob out on them a few years ago now. So very few about.
Kent, I thought you were north o'border!
Why not make some noise? Maybe even a few glass bottles in a plastic bin even.
Empty ones make more noise, so you'd have to get shoot of the contents.
If I were you, I'd try to breach that peace.

Snap, you going shopping or site seeing?

Never heard the WX being di=escribed as a bit dewhurst b4....
I was trained up on the latest (still) bin loaded and unloading technology before retiring..
I remember doing stand-in in the 70s when it was yon brown paper bag things in the wire cages which superseded the big cane basket carrying.

In the early 70s bins changed from the old tin ones where binmen emptied them into cane baskets and tipped them into the lorry sides.
Then you got this cage thing in which you fitted this big brown paper type bag (no ashes LOL), I remember doing 'relief' work in emptying them and some times I did the shoving the bags into the destructor fire through a hole...good job in the winter...

We got new plastic bins(No hot ashes!) along with a new county. New local council decided that the metal bins were out of date. They retained the same system, binmen emptying household bins into theirs which were larger, hoisting them onto their shoulder and carrying to the rear loading lorry. No side loaders in these parts.
All taken to landfill, now possibly still alight underground. Definitely leaking methane.

Two yearly eye check for me.
Feeling better now, not as dry.

No rain round these parts either

Anything good in yer "daddy delivery" for you?
Plain or milk chocolate?

Do they fit you, or haven't you tried them yet. Sensible ones, you mean you don't buy sensible boots?
If it snows this year you'll have the job of building the snowman for Toodles. The obligatory snowball fight with the Young Un...
I've open moorland to walk round here, almost straight out the door. Five minutes and it'd be a few miles before I get close to another house. That's being lived in.
You got the part then. Explains yer recent jaunts to old haunts.

Don't listen to them.

You did check they weren't damaged, didn't you?
And you want your share of her cake, no doubt.
You'll be staying in if it snows though. Could you not have sold them a pair of yours.
That's the problem when you move to a new area, constant comparisons to the other places.

Is that a large or small number present on a Friday?
