What you done to get an insider preview?
I've a copy of Windows 97 somewhere. If you think Windows 98 were bad compared to 98 SE, Windows 97 is worse than 98. 98 to 98 SE, was a bigger upgrade than 97 to 98.
Think we are used to buying stuff that works from the word go, with those that aren't, willing to accept the updates as part of ownership.
Would you feel safe in a car that relies on updates being received to use it. Don't accept/miss the updates and there's a chance it'll stop on you.

And they're expected to get to their destinations when?
Only a hundred packed. Ever get odd looks at the post office.

Think we may be ahead on the rain front, Debi seems to have been delayed getting here.

Think yer being generous there.

Sithi...

I signed up...
been doing it for yonks even on 10...
I liked XP probably the most..
11 is okay, folk hate change.
I like change.. that's why I shop at asda, boom boom !!

I know it can take years to go through the system, there is system in place to send when it gets to an economical rate, not each month or anything like that...dunno if it weight (I'm guessing it is) or amount of cards...
Mrs M does the posting I do the hard work, getting the contacts and logging,
saves me getting wet or cold
a measly 4.1 mm here, dreich.

Very simple answer.
Still running XP Pro.
I hate having to pay for new hardware, because what I have doesn't have drivers for the newer operating systems. And the cost of changing operating systems, when what I have works fine.
You get much change at Asda?

Waiting on an economical rate? Suppose such a rate doesn't return, are the cards in limbo.
Seems a fair way to split the work. Especially if you're getting the printer to try and co-operate with you.
We've the wind die down early morning, and the rain has stopped for now.

I haven't paid for anything since 7, I got a key from the big river place then..
I recently changed motherboard, processor and have NVME drives but original parts inside were over or around 10 years old....
made one helluva difference...

Dunno but may tomorrow...Mrs M has visit planned, must be pizza time.

It would be interesting how many cards pass through yearly each way..
over 1.5 million cards pass though, I'd imagine that is in and out..

For once in my life I am considered normal...

She didn't have to pay for Toodles though.
Any money left for you?

Bought a secondhand laptop that came with 7, kept the hard drive as external storage when it packed up.
The case is still the same one though!

Pizza, you'll have the Young 'Un with you soon then.

Can you not ask how many roughly a year.
Does being "normal" mean much these days.

We've rain in the air. It'll be back tonight.

Sounds like a decent arrangement. Who came up with it.
You like the current operating system that much.

Either it were a small pizza that were planned, or one heck of a black pudding!

Forecast for a drier day than yesterday isn't holding true.

You eat them raw I take it. Non of this wasting time cooking it.
I know they're updated all the time. But for Windows it seems to favour US timezones. Miss one and there's a chance that you'll have another, later, that won't work unless the one you missed is put in.

We're well in front on the rain front in that case. I check and then see if they were correct, or even close.
So you're staying in, hoping to miss it.

gawd, no..
deep fried from t'chippy...
I updated both today, once afore I headed out and the preview one about and hour ago, it would be possibly around lunchtime in the pacific west coast.....if so one this morning must have been between 12 midnight our time and 8 am this morn.
0.7 mm a poor show for rain ..should have made the effort and saved it for another day...

There's a few towns with castles up near you though.

You deep fry yer black pudding!
Have you no decency, no taste?
We, outside of the US, seem to have to make do with second best. Overnight over there, how many would be using their computers.
Were ahead on the rain front, by a fair margin today.

You'll be going "hunting" tomorrow?
