I was the oldest...
(4 days previous I'd had a BIG birthday..
I did offer as it was a big bag,
rasher funnily they were made eight miles away from my then home
day was dreary so no real views..
In silhouette, you could see why they decided to put a railway on it .
I took mrs M down that way in '18 (?) and I was doing the Pyg Track up and she'd have taken the choo choo but too early in the season (or something, can't remember)
According to me mate, you could see the hat a looong way away...
You dropped it, decent excuse for a return visit.
And you were still in recovery mode?
If the offer were made and he refused...
Could they see it there, all the way from Wales!
You can see the end of the path.
Too many lazy folk wanting to get to the top.
As a result you both ended going up the Pyg Track.
You want to get someone else to wear it and see how far he can go before they're lost in the mist.

The train was a genius idea...
Hill was perfect for it with that wedge shape..

Out earlier and ordered 3 builder bags of 20mm stone (decorative aggregate, as they now call it)..
delivery was to be delayed until area was to be prepared but help has a busy three week non stop work SO tomorrow I'll have to get the work head on but it isn't a massive area so even if I have to finish preparation so be it.
Grass away then stones on top of yon thick black weed resistant stuff.....
oh boy....
I better stay off the cider tonight..

:laugh:I'll have beer instead

Most hills are wedge shaped though. Folk wanted an easy way to the top.

Hardcore replacing grass. You'll be selling yer lawnmower now.

Leave yer work head next to the bed. You'll get a reminder as soon as you wake up.
Two of you were going to do the work, now it's just you. How much time are you allowing yerself to get the work done?

Aye, save the cider for when the job is done.

Hello :hello:
I'm slightly late today...
Preparing the front for stones, more thanks to eldest Mhor who did the serious work, Mr M put in a fair shift too..
ordered the black stuff and the chuckie type stones appear either Mon or Tue....
then the 'shack' got a gutting...
all this electrical gear attracts all sorts of dust and stoor..

Just try to go low maintenance at the front...
I just have to rake and get some sort of level in bits.
I'll peg down the membrane the day of the job..
I think two bags of the chips will cover the front at 5cm,
the other bag can go down around the shed on three sides, all go on the Mhor front..
a couple of beers tonight I think..
and rest up until Monday...

Tha's only slightly late.
You'll have a note explaining why I hope?
If the eldest did the serious work, were you doing the funny business.

Monday is a Bank Holiday, you'll be getting a delivery on it, and working then!

You find anything you didn't know you had whilst sorting t'shed?

Low maintenance, but high on the sound level.
I've heard beer goes well with chips...
Enjoy.

I'll spend some time early in the morn and rake it out....
busy tomorrow again..

I'll believe you...
This time.
Like I said, the funny business
Who's hurting the most, you or eldest?
They promised the start of a heatwave for the start of the month, not rain. We're due a refund.
Will what's been bagged be going tomorrow, or will you wait while next week.
Don't go overdoing things, you might need painkillers, meaning no more beer!

That's not right!
I mean, how can you possibly have fish without chips?

And did you do as you were told?
Couldn't you keep the dust down with water from a watering can.
You can't just roll up, in your female form, and offload!

Not good to mix them with beer, according to the information leaflet. You don't want to be stopped from having a drink at the end of your days labours.
