I'm cutting back (allegedly)
and still the scales keep coming up with wonky readings (honest(aye right ))

Honeysuckle bouncing back with some nice leaf growth, fruit trees showing slight sign of buds, overwintering sweet peas? less said the better...
Might start sweet peas, peas (and not sure yet) off start next week.
Clematis (2), Jasmine and canny remember its name have been hammered by the frosts, oh well.
Not bothering with inside tomatoes this year....

Mrs M wants me to buy 7 tons of chuckies and a load of sleepers...
must teach Beag the art of chimney sweeping

was originally going to have two deep so now, on their side (pegged), a seating area (small table and chairs) just use chuckies but level it a bit with sleepers at W fence, put in kick boards on N fence and sleepers down S side, they could be one on top of the other or just on their sides (pegged), keeping some grass...

Have all parties been made aware of the cost of the sleepers, be they "new" or proper sleepers purchased?
Will all concerned be putting their hands in their pockets to fund the purchase.

He was beat after nursery today..
problem is a severe lack of chimneys but he's binge watching Fred Dibnah tonight
I'll have to scrape the bawbees out of ma sporran.....
think Dino Ranch or Paw Patrol might be preferred watching though.....
Have you seen the American construction lads watching the Fred clips on 'u toob?'

Never so grateful for the gas mask like thing I wore whilst 'battering' plaster off lath in the early 70s, who knows what that would have contained. I wore a tight fitting (with hood) boilersuit as well, yet others just had no PPE.

Anyhoo, enjoying the peace and calm before mid afternoon the Beag dervish visits..

I'm trying hard to clear my desk of QSL cards (they're ready to go, just need a padded envelope), I need stamps for SAES to send me incoming cards and a covering note to the Manager apologising for my being tardy...
