Goooooooooood morning Tealandia:hello:
:cuppa: best thing for it..

Quite breezy outside...

I got home, letter waiting and had to rearrange again to a slightly later time...
Bike? 35 days since I've been in the saddle..
I'm getting stir crazy:hyper:

C&L is one of the better gins tbh..
I looked at the shelves of gin yesterday and thought, every place must have its own ginnery, I have tried quite a few and I always go back to proprietary ones, brew some neutral spirit, throw some local 'botanical' in and voila..
a fusion of local 'weeds' for your pleasure with hints of citrus whilst camomile or whatever comes through in the after taste, I mean who writes this dung....
I'd gone up to Inversnecky (Fort Bill to Inversnecky by bike) and thought a bottle of local gin for a souvenir, £49 quid for something with Loch Ness on the label, aye right..
It used to be everybody opened art galleries when they moved up north, now its a ginnery and craft beer microbrewery, a lot of this craft beer is overpriced and rotten too:laugh:
The one I do like...
Golden Straw to the eye..
Fresh, zesty , citrus hops and fruity to the nose..
taste ? Sharp, crisp, biscuity 'whit?' , dry finish...dry finish, it's bleeding wet stuff:laugh:
I have that cynical 4x4 mood today:cuppa:
Owdo you do?
I concur...

T'ain't too bad here

Anything serious, local McD's shutting that sort of thing...
Get out there, the fresh air in yer lungs might help.
Bouncing off the walls soon follows.

Not one for gins, or spirits missen, but it does seem as though there's been an explosion of fancy drinks in recent years.

Cynical mood, you've put the 2X2 aside for now?

No Maccys for a few days (week plus?)
Nah, I probably just need a chocolate infusion...

Bouncing off the walls, eh..
saw this being performed live circa 2000 in the Garage, Glasgow....
that was a good night...
round about that time saw a few bands who could have since sung the Paw Patrol intro :laugh:as it was that style they played.
Oldest daughter is wanting me to go see somebody if they come across,
I might look out of place:laugh:

Mrs is out so got some 70s stuff playing.

A week! Withdrawal symptoms?
Hot chocolate via IV drip into the arm. Would it help, or do you need something a bit more solid.

Nowhere near as bad at present you think. In the comfort of your own home, not a draughty garage this time.
You keeping up with your homework i see.
If you look out of place so what. It'd be down to you whether it was alright or not.

This sort of thing?

It's Peppa Pig this week..
PP are on when Beag isn't here..
so it's the amazing Fireman Sam..
nobody says phone the Fire Brigade, it's call Sam:ohmy:
Four, five kids and a couple of adults seem to keep an entire fire service etc busy..
jeez, how many times has Norman Price been a victim?
Get rid of Norm and the whole fire service in Pontypandy will be withdrawn through lack of use....
integrated with the nearest county town service...
Hot choc.. aye cracked it....

Depends on my mood, a few different 70s playlists..
Them blokes are in there......
so are these guys:ohmy:

She's a cannibal, they showed her eating bacon sarnies just after George "disappeared".
Fireman Sam! No Bob The Builder or Postman Pat? The latter riding an illegal motorbike and sidecar combination, at work.
Norm disappeared, the problems may just follow him wherever he moved to.
Seems to be a trouble maker anyway. With a liking for chemistry sets!

No need for the solid variety or IV then.

From round your way, weren't they?
You still got their scarf?

The rollers were brilliant..
I saw one of the earlier line-ups in circa 1971?
just a good, fun singalong hits...
the chevy hides our secrets who I sing along to..

I told him ages ago that his dad used to watch pat and sam,
the look on his face was hilarious.
We kept his dad's playmobil stuff and he gets hours of enjoyment when he is here

You HAVE to go look at this.... HERE (link is an old Reddit link)

You'd less to travel to see them than I did. Not my sort though.

You hide your secrets in the Chevy. Suppose the young 'in finds them!

Fireman Sam and Postman can't be that old surely. Jess must have lived all her nine lives, and then some.
If you've seen the price of Playmobil now you'll be glad you hung on to them.

The true cost of one person causing a major part of the trouble. Pass the costs onto the parents I say.

Mrs M kept Lego, Duplo, Playmobil and Brio etc plus the girls dolls etc etc...
the plastic stuff all washed up well in the dishwasher:wacko:
Beag's dad absconded with the lego as soon as they got their house (well before Beag came along), if only the rest would disappear we'd get the car in the garage:laugh:

Reminds me to get my back up cooking and tea making facilities if these possible power cuts come along.....
glad I kept all my camping kit....
even the dixies I bought early '70s....at the cost of them no wonder ,50p each :cuppa:
Think my auld body wouldn't enjoy sleeping out anymore...
Bought a wee Aldi camping lamp recently just in case...

anyhoo, the waxing awaits....

T'is early still
A doo where you'll be letting yer hair down and dancing to all the old tunes no doubt.
Neighbours 'll enjoy the oldies.

Nowt wrong with keeping it. Prices have only increased over t'years.
She could have had you washing it all by hand!
Nip into the garage, having said yer pricing to sell, and see how far you get.

I've mine, in house ready, just in case.
50p! I paid that for two Trangia pans in the mid 80's.
Maybe, but would it complain enough to make you move back inside?

Wax on, wax off...

I used to have a wee 9" black and white tv which ran off 12v, a Tandy special from the '80s, it had band 1 tv which I could receive foreign telly during sporadic E lifts...no telly so better make sure the kindle is kept charged..

I'm going to binge watch Cosmos this weekend on youtube, first episodes watched.

There's a party and not only are you not invited, you have to leave the premises!
That's cruel and possibly against yer human rights. If not, it should be.

Oh ay!

Stage a sit down protest, gluing yerssen to the floor or wall.

I'd summat similar. Only got rid of it when someone didn't want to stop watching it when they put the car battery on charge.

What will you do if the battery on yer kindle gives up.

Binging, is that healthy?

I've two kindles..
one of the originals and I inherited a white one from me middle child.
I have paper books as back up LOL....

We'd the hen party here,
I shut this door and let them get on with it but my girls made sure dad had lots of booze and cake:wacko:

I never watched any of the Cosmos stuff, I've plenty time..
I remember watching the first episode and got totally blown away with it, it's obviously dated but still powerful. It would have been interesting if he had been around today to present a modern day version, the other bloke who did the 2014 (?) version just didn't have it.

Anyhoo, log up and see what's on't telly.....

Get you, two kindles!
Isn't inheriting something supposed to be from elder to younger. Yer did it the wrong way round.

It's one of those parties. I can see why they don't want you there. T'was good of them to make sure you had plentiful supplies though.

Never watched it, so I'll have to take yer word on it.

There's not a right lot, I'm a celebrity...

We tend to pass old electronics on if anyone has a need for them.
I've inherited a few, Mrs M 'inherits' my phone when I upgrade..

Cosmos was ground breaking and is a must watch, Mr Sagan took presenting to a new level...

anyway, a busy day..
staying up here whilst preparations for tomorrow are taking place...
plenty of goodies though:cuppa:

Owdo this fine afternoon

Makes sense as opposed to just getting rid of them. Although if people were waiting on my last handset they had a bit of a wait. I had it twenty years, before the battery wouldn't hold a charge. No replacements available now, so it's a DIY job.

I know the one you mean now, still not seen anything other than adverts for it though.

Busy day doing very little. How'd you manage that?
It's taken ovee the whole weekend. Did they do no planning beforehand.
Are you going down raiding the kitchen, or are you being supplied with delights to tickle yer fancy and keep you up there, out of harms way?
