that reminds me, I read once they ultra pasturize milk there so you don't have to refrigerate it.... is that true?

I worked on a dairy farm one summer... the only thing I learned from the experience; cows are really dumb

Motor is working, needle not going up and down - any ideas CycleChatters? Are sewing machine repairs expensive?

They can be expensive. Have you tried tightening the wheel? Sometimes it will get loose. Could also be the drive belt is broken which is an easy fix. And pull the thread from the bobbin make sure it's not tangled. I had a cheap machine for 10 years that I kept going (but I 'm mechanical enough to figure out and fix just about anything)

I don't know, but I'm sure some clever sew and sew will help!

A few years ago we were out for a walk and when we got to a field there were 2 couples, townies, 1 lady joked about whether the farmer would mind if she tried to milk the cow, that I would have loved to have seen, it was a BULL!
