I am trying to use the steam-powered puter. The screen has got some strange shadowing on it, making the words look very blurred, and my eyes are going  trying to read it. I presume this is a problem with the screen, not the puter.

The e reader is very cumbersome when used for e mails and this forum.

The garden and :sun: are beckoning, with occasional watching of the Tour. ^_^

On the news this lunchtime a reporter said that the country was preparing for 'temperatures of thirty degrees' and then followed on to say that 'bookmakers were cutting the odds on temperatures reaching one hundred degrees'!

Either it is going to be extremely cold with the betting on very warm, or it is going to be very warm with the betting on the end of life as we know it!

There was a package in the post just now, addressed to me and Arch. Arch said to open it.

Turns out it must be a Wiggle order, though neither of us have placed an order with them.
Some of the tubes seem to be special valveless ones.
