Also, first time using USB heated insoles in my winter boots. Only cheap ones from Amazon but wow, nice warm feet at last!

Couple of idiot questions.

I presume the cable is split so goes down each leg and into one battery.

How long is the cable?

Where do you keep the battery?

The cables can be parted and one goes down each leg. I put the terminals in my socks before putting bib longs on.

I connected the other end to a power bank in the back pocket of my jersey under my jacket once I'd connected the cables to the insoles in my boots. The connectors and cables on the insoles come up higher than the top of my boots but not by very much.

The longer cables on mine are 150cm long.

Warmed up a bit but it was not worth the faff of changing the wheels back from studded to normal. Saw my son cycling five cars ahead of me last night, he heard my noisy tyres from way back and slowed down to let the old man catch him up!

Coming down a road a car coming toward me turned across my path. Enough time to react and slow down but still bumped the car. Driver was adamant i was in the wrong as he 'was signalling'. Driver said he'd exchange details but instead hopped in his car and sped off.

Unfortunately for him my helmet camera captured the relatively low-impact crash, the back and forth with him and him jetting off.

Coppers popped round today to get my statement so the muppet will be getting a visit from them in due course

Well reported. Sounds like he needs a bout of re-education.

Went up to the local office today so good opportunity for a test as it's only 2km roughly so no issue walking home if required.

Easy enough to chuck an SQR bracket on and head off.

Certainly going to sort that stem, I am sure I have some spares and the seat needs tweaking but I'll fit a spa brooks copy onto it before I mess. I'll try and fit the Marathon GT365 38mm I have this weekend.

Other than that I need to work out the double tap system and get some muscle memory going.
