Yesterday was my first SLR, I've been out with Chris before, unfortunately he had the "mother of all Sundays" so he didn't manage to meet us.
After the group slit after the cable car, me and Nigel headed east towards Woolwich along the Thames path, we then split just before Woolwich and I went off home.
It was nice to meet Nigel, Tim and Dave and hopefully I'll see you guys out again.

In addition to the great pictures the others have uploaded, here are some stills from my Contour (before it died) and a few of the pictures taken on my phone.

Thank you. Next time I'll move the cloud, so the chain comes out of it.
That's the spirit !
That's the kind of thing we like

Sorry to have missed you - I was on a Brompton ride in another county! I did do a ride on Saturday that turned out to be a bit of a memory lane. I blogged about it here http://www.the5milecyclist.com/apps/blog/show/42028571-brompton-river-crossing-ride-29-03-14 but it really did bring back memories of this ride http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/sunday-london-ride.47966/page-187 Three years and several bicycles and miles later.. . These were the pics from that ride https://picasaweb.google.com/108733...authkey=Gv1sRgCP7D44Tb9Zjn3wE&feat=directlink

All my cycling antics started here in this thread - so thank you peeps - it's been fab!

Hope to see you on a Sunday London Ride soon.

So, if you add it all up, how much would you so the SLR has cost you?

(Sorry I didn't say good bye to you on Saturday. You seemed to have disappeared completely when I left. Lovely to bump into you again!)

Oooo @deptfordmarmoset sorry too! I whizzed around the show and couldn't stay for very long, sadly, but it was good to see you.

As for how much the SLR has cost me - on the one hand it's saved me a small fortune in parking fines, petrol and car paraphernalia but on the other hand @vernon has a lot to answer for! Without a doubt, tho', it's the best thing I ever, ever did and I have been grinning ever since. :wahhey:

Hope we can do an SLR soon.

They can be a bit sporadic, captain, and destinations are fairly arbitrary. But as there's a Fridays ride tonight (yes, I know it's Thursday but it's a bank holiday tomorrow) a few of the more regulars will either be catching up on sleep or off cycling in the countryside.
