I'm keeping Martin in check on the 200 miler on Saturday, then the week after I'm doing the CTC Tri-Vet, which is only open to the over-50s, so none of you lot need apply. The after that I'm riding to Edinburgh and back, so SLR for me will be in early July..

i will be doing 130 miles on Sunday with a mere 4000m (13,000ft) of climbing on the day - what was I thinking

It's OK for those people who can damn well see over the top of most hills in the south to mock, but the vertically challenged folk have to work at climbing hills
