We don't have to hang around to watch the races, but it's still a good destination for a Sunday ride with different stuff to look at.

how far and fast are those Andrij? I feel like I need some proper exercise this weekend!

It's around 50km, but very much a pootling pace - it's mostly share used paths, very little is on roads. on average it takes us at least 8 hours, including lunch and tea stops.

If you want to do this as proper exercise use a heavy bike and fill your panniers with cake and booze. You'll get a good workout and make everyone else happy in the process.

12...ish is getting on for peel off time, i just wanner ride me bike and relax, may go out solo

give me a shout if you want some company

Not the right rugby match tomorrow you mean...

User - my NBMF on CC. I'm thinking of joining you guys tomorrow for my inaugural Sunday London Ride as I will be in Yorkshire next week-end and therefore no cycling.

For anyone in East London and surrounding area Cycling Club Hackney (CCH) does an early risers club ride every Sunday from our club house at Olympus Square, London, E5 8PL.

We ride out at 8am aiming to be back for 11:30am. Usual route via Epping Forest and out into surrounding countryside. The ride is a steady pace for around 45 miles + tea and cake stop (of course). New riders are welcome to turn up and ride - we hope you'll enjoy it enough to want to join the club.

OK Becs.

I'm on for the North London thing as it's a bit earlier.

Meet you there, Kate? HPC at 9.30.

I'll be doing the Richmond ride tomorrow. Not sure how many will be turning up at HPC tomorrow because of Martins big ride today.

If no one else turns up you'll have plenty of time to get down to Richmond and join us.

11am departure from the cafe under the Richmond Bridge, about 30-40 ish miles from what I understand.
