Great riding with the cat and the Cymry.

What was very much last minute opening in my dance card turned out to be a full day of fun. Katie, you'll be pleased to hear those headwinds have been treating me to a full on facial blast every evening. Sorry about the whole Bromley Hill thing. My bike has two speeds. Wobble and whoosh.

I'll not be out this Sunday (Evey's away) but hope to catch you all again soon.

yes I have, and I was put off by the 25 quid too.....I need to get my training off to a start in the new year !

I know people who've done previous Hell of the Ashdown sportives. The weather seems to have been the biggest factor in previous years. I won't be doing it - I'm not a fan of sportives - but would be up for doing the route some other time early in the new year if you fancy it. Some nice riding down that way.

I've been off work sick for a couple of days with some kind of chest/throat thing, so I'm doubtful for the weekend. If I do come out to play it'll most likely be Sunday and I'd favour a local thing..... Or maybe a HPC/Hyde Park/LookMum type of thing.....
