As some of you Sundays will know 27 of us from CC and 3 from LFGSS will be riding at the Herne Hill Velodrome next Sunday between 11 and 1. So if you want to come and have a laugh at us or meet us in th pub for a beer after you are more than welcome.

Not exactly a Sunday London Ride - more of a Friday Essex Ride - but great fun all the same. Glorious weather - hot hot hot - and great company. The pub served excellent food too. Thanks TC1, ttcycle and Sig - that was fun. Amended link to pics

Nice day out by the look of the Pics....I'll vouch for the RSPB Cafe and the Pub looks like the Old White Horse at Ockendon....not tried it but think must head that way soon.... all local for me.

A very cold ride today (buff and leg warmers Martin) misty with a nice tail wind to help me pootle up to Cambridge in 4 hours, got the fast train back ( whats the point of having a fast train if you have to wait 40 minutes for it? )


I may be out with Sig on friday, working on sat, proper sunday ride/pootle next week?

The races start at 12pm but it looks like there could be other stuff going on before then, including chips (sorry frites), waffles and beer tents. Bring lots of cash if you want to indulge yourself as I expect they are Rapha frites, waffles and beer so worth at least twice as much as normal
