Made it to a nice pub for a roast, nearly didn't, a stupid twat in a crappy car deliberately swerved at me (bloody close) got out of his car and had a go - apparently I was cycling too far out because I wasn't in striking distance of a car door! Personally I think his small manhood was offended by having to sit behind a voluptuous female cyclist doing 20 odd mph!

Luckily he backed off when he saw Luke though, just gutted I didn't get the bastard's plate!

Richmond park was lovely though, lots of bike porn and a gorgeous ferrari on the way back!

Offer of a bodyguard is still open..... It's really starting to look like you need one....:hello:

But, but ... Luke was there Big Mat... what are you trying to say?

I know! Don't know what everyone's problem was this week! I really wish I'd had a helmet camera! Luke and I were too busy standing up to the little twunt to get a picture of the vehicle/memorise the plate. The boy did admirably, just glad my short temper didn't get him punched!

nice ride today folks. 55 miles for me today. Really enjoyed the pre ride sprint to Keston then up to town with Dave. Good company, good weather, made it back early, had a cracking family meal and I am now catching up on todays tour of flanders !. Roll on next Sunday !

What with those skinny ankles, leg warmers and...... Sh****no cleats

Those are Mista Preston's shiny new shoes.

Well if you want a puncture rather than a punchim.......

I was all ready to start throwing punctured tubes at him the moment he got brave enough to get completely out of his car.
But I knew my tube supplies were safe as he couldn't even pluck up the courage to look at me directly.

I understand the guy's dilemma about looking at you Luke.

Sorry about mistaking those ladylike ankles for yours - and I should have spotted the Lego under the sole.
Since when did Specialized start making teensy sizes? I have always relied upon them for the 'fuller figure / foot'

Naughty Clive for not owning up to them!

Let me know if you do Sheerness, I'll join you on route. May head out round the Isle of Thanet and get the train back from Dover or something... Just hope the weather is as nice as today!

Route in mind or just winging it?

Hoping Luke's sat nav wotsit will tell us where to go! All ideas welcome though!

It will very much be winging it.

I will probably use the FNRttC route for most of it, unless that turns out to be horrible during the daytime.
Or it may just be route one through Greenwich then on to Dartford (although I think this would involve Shooters Hill  ) then Gravesend, Rochester, Gillingham, Grange and up to Sheerness.

Unless there are some helpful suggestions or even better someone who knows a good way who wants to come along
