Yes it is! I have just done a 20 mile 'maintenance ride' (I fixed myself last night and wanted to check that I hadn't over-inflated my sense of self ) S_L_O_W riding, just absorbing the day was in order. The Batchworth, Rickmansworth, 'Coy Carp' bit to Harefield etc. Note to CharlieB: Breakspear Road north has been resurfaced and is a dream to ride on - it used to be like a ride around the edge of the Moon.
Rain this after, and cold tonight - back to normal. Look forward to seeing the unusual, quirky, humourous photos of Luke in his hipster rig lovely London!

Edit: flippin' striking through everything!

Didn't do sunblock. Hopefully my arms will have caught the sun a little bit and go slightly brown... I can really feel it on my ears though!

41 enjoyable miles for me Today: SW20>HPC>Hyde Park>Kings Road>Putney>Richmond Park>Cafe in middle (bacon roll & coca cola  )>anticlockwise lap#1>anticlockwise lap#2>Roehampton>Putney>Wim Common>SW20

Thanks to one and all for another nice Sunday ride. 10 of us (I think) Today and fine cycling weather. Shame about all the traffic in Richmond Park though!

Made it to a nice pub for a roast, nearly didn't, a stupid twat in a crappy car deliberately swerved at me (bloody close) got out of his car and had a go - apparently I was cycling too far out because I wasn't in striking distance of a car door! Personally I think his small manhood was offended by having to sit behind a voluptuous female cyclist doing 20 odd mph!

Luckily he backed off when he saw Luke though, just gutted I didn't get the bastard's plate!

Richmond park was lovely though, lots of bike porn and a gorgeous ferrari on the way back!

Having had my fill of London traffic this week I'm hoping to pedal into the countryside next Sunday. I'm thinking about 60 miles, give or take 10. Maybe cycling to Malden (as I heard great things and missed it!) and then a train home. I am not keen on early starts so thinking maybe starting 10/10.30 and making a day of it. Anyone interested?
