An immediate change is going to be to be lot of products carrying a Royal Seal of approval as those which were granted by the Queen are now no longer valid and producers will have to remove them from packaging etc. They do have 2 years however.

For some council areas in Scotland September 19th already is a public holiday. It will be interesting to see how that is handled as they would effectively receive one less public holiday compared to the rest of Scotland and, of course, the UK.
Has that been confirmed yet?Seems a bit of a shame in two ways that the Queen's body will be flown: denies the faithful a chance to bow to the Royal Train; and a further avoidable increase in carbon footprint.
Does that mean that, in a 'normal' year, they receive one more Bank Holiday than the rest of Scotland, and the rest of the UK?
