There are of course a lot of requests for feedback these days but it's a tad grumpy to never leave anything. You can't leave feedback for everything, naturally. But I don't ignore all the requests, I do leave feedback if it helps someone.
For example where you've been dealing with an individual in a customer service call centre, and you get a text to ask if they were helpful. That feedback directly affects their appraisals, so why not help them out if they were knowledgeable, helpful and saved you money?

Similarly, did you ever benefit from a review of a product that mentioned or addressed a question that you had in your mind?
Would you not like to be that helpful person at least once or twice?

You're quite right. I might have been a bit hasty in claiming that I ignore ALL requests, but it's now the case that review request overload means I'll only review something if it is outstandingly good - or outstandingly bad.
Now, where do I review the Garmin Edge Explore 820?

Anyone else getting slightly tired of being asked to review every online purchase, every experience, every place you visit,

The Reverend Richard Coles fully agrees with you. He tweeted:
"Every corporate entity in the world: I’ve got better things to do than rate you, or give you feedback, for every unremarkable, adequate, sufficient, satisfactory service you provide. If exceptionally good, or bad, I will. Otherwise please leave me alone. "

This morning I received an email from a Customer Experience Representative..

Erm, I'm not sure if I have to reach out to them or feedback.

I once reviewed a pub on TripAdvisor when I was a bit younger and cocky. It wasn't a bad review but the owners were so outraged at my suggestion they were reheating Brakes portions that I withdrew it in shame.

The post arrived in a timely manner by post. However, some of the contents were damaged upon delivery. After numerous unanswered emails and telephone calls I am returning said post to the original poster at my own expense. Suffice to say, I shall NEVER buy their goods or use their services again.
