Are baggy clothes a fashion trend now, where one wears a size or two up from what would normally fit them?

And what's up with jeans that don't cover your underpants? I recently learned this is called sagging. I heard that a popular reason given for this is because it mimics malnourished men in jail so their trousers used to fall off their waste and it's to stand in solidarity with them. But another thread told me it's because in jail, how shall I put this lightly, men don't have roll their trousers down to, uhm, have fun. But seriously wth, I was at the mall and saw this guy with his jeans quite far down. I thought that fashion has done it's rounds.

Oh, 'only' £42,092,178.54 then. I was way out! I asked because I heard on the radio earlier that the Duke Of Wellington was given £400,000 from 'a grateful nation' ( I bet those working in mines or working the land etc at the time were all for it ) for being victorious in the Battle of Waterloo. Not bad eh! Over 42 million quid for sitting on his horse well away from the front line, while the peasants were getting blown to pieces!

Not strictly true. The Duke did come under cannon fire and a number of his aides were killed or wounded.

I recall that, some years ago, the mayor of some town in America passed a local law to make that practice illegal.

Will Humans ever travel beyond the solar system and make contact with intelligent extra terrestrials?

Seems unlikely given the quality of people we let run countries...

Why do my photos on my iphone particularly seem to breed? Every so often I have a cull and delete ones not likely to be wanted in future as they were only taken as a record for short term viewing.
Going back next cull I discover that not only are they still there but have multiplied into several identical ones.

Synced photos. Automagically restoring.

There will be a setting somewhere for syncing to the icloud (. AIUI, if you delete photos from your device, they should also be deleted from the icloud, but it looks like that may not be happening. Or maybe it is, but the way you are looking at them doesn't show you that they are in the "deleted" folder, from which they should disappear after 30 days.

Sounds right if only I understood how it all works.
