I love my mountain bike - I have a Dawes hybrid with racks and a basket, which I use to pootle to town on, but I much prefer being in the woods covered in mud!

Hi all.....been at it since 6th July......covered 2.5k miles since then! Middle aged, overweight smoker......lost 2 stone and can get up hills I never thought possible! My job as teacher gives me time off to enjoy the bike. Bought a cannondale synapse for 500.....love it! Do fancy some winter sun....anyone got any recommendations for a three/ four day break? Don't want to be part of a group or be guided......I really really like riding on my own......cheers all and merry Christmas.

Brand new - found this site while looking for info on Ribble bikes
Perhaps not such good value.
And it seems the wheels are a major issue.
Any advice on good value wheels
Also - lots of comments on Ribble customer service - but I hear that PlanetX also not so good
