Hello all. My second post - oops.

Just started to get back into cycling - twice a week. Started 10 miles in a day now up to 33 miles. I try and keep off road where possible.

Bike: Dawes MTB (can't remember model - it's 5 years old now)

I live in Southampton - UK.

Just saying hello, my first post & just getting back into riding after being out of the saddle for too many years to mention

Hello everyone,
Really gotten into cycling in the last year and had been been putting in a lot of miles on the road bike but plan to do more on the mountain bike during the winter.
I'm always interested to see what other peoples thoughts are on all things bike related so I look forward to seeing what everyone has to say.

HI SHAUN
I am a former cyclist from Liverpool. Don't ride a lot these days but still retain a love for the classic steel bike. My niece s new husband is a keen triathlete and expressed an inclination to ride leroica Britannia next year. Ive still got lots of old bits so I offered to help him put a bike together. That led me to leroica on facebook and from there to your forum. So here I am Hello

Hello,

So you've signed-up, got your user account, now all you need to do is get posting .... ah, um, er, What do I say?

Well, it's dead easy - just say Hello and tell us a little bit about yourself and whereabouts you're from (so we can invite you along to rides!!)

Believe me, once you get that first post under your belt you'll be off!

My name's Shaun by the way, and I own and operate CycleChat.

If you need any help or advice on using the forums, or want to ask a question but don't want to do it publicly - just send me a PM (private message).

Hope you enjoy, and welcome to CycleChat

Cheers,
Shaun
Hello

Well I am jut getting back into the road bikes after 15 years out of it and boy have things changed. Am trying to get my son into road bikes as I think he will be good on them. Lot of restless energy plus I would like a cycling partner who is used to my inane ramblings. Joined my local club recently and about to go start a City and Guilds to try and get up to date on the bike mechanics.

Hi folks, just getting into this game. Actually buzzing for it. Never thought I'd be a cyclist but that's me hooked after only a week in the saddle.
