Hello, I'm new here.
I can't really tell you much about myself................the last thing I remember was being abducted by aliens last night and having my brains sucked out.
I'm not even sure if I'm interested in cycling, but I seem to have a garage full of bikes. Or they might be something else. Are you guys my parents?
Started on the whisky early this evening?;)

Hi and :welcome: to everyone who has joined in the last week or so. Nice to see so many people getting into cycling.

Hi..
I'm undertaking the application of TLC to a mountain bike with a view to getting fit, losing weight and cycling to and from the station, fitness rides and maybe extending it for my children - if I can finally say I can ride with them it'd make life a lot easier.

We have a lovely cycle track nearby - down a couple of very steep hills from my house. So looking forward to being able to wobble my way onto the track and see how far I manage to ride by this time next year.

Hi Just to say hello, I am just getting into biking and looking to purchase my first road bike. I currently ride twice a week on my MTB and up to 30 mile rides. I live in Lowestoft Suffolk and ride around Lound , blunderston and Hopton.

Hi everyone, I've spent the last year doing up a touring bike from the mid eighties and making it my own. I've put in a fair few miles on it, round and about town and on longer rides.

Hello everyone. I joined here and the Strava club though I usually read more than I write. Got myself a hybrid last spring, just a carrera subway from Halfords but it does what I want it to. Gets me out in the countryside where I can enjoy the scenery and take a few photos.
I get out and about when I can on my days off work and I'm enjoying the rides after not being on a bike since I was about 20 years old. I'll be 49 in a couple of weeks. Biggest ride so far was this time last year when I went to Ride the lights at Blackpool. Did 79 miles that day and I'd like to do a century someday.

Hello! I'm 44 and live in Newcastle. I've just purchased my first bike in over 25 years (a specialised allez) and went for my first ride yesterday. It was a 7 mile ride which I done in 37 minutes. I thought this was OK but want to get an honest opinion of other cyclists on how they think I done!

Hello to All,

I'm a bimble to work commuter and sometime serious cycle to pub weekend warrior. I'm from Glasgow.

I'm in the process of changing over from a hybrid to some form of road bike. I'll prattle on about this, and request advice in a more appropriate thread.
