Welcome all new CC members! :hello: I second what @Jonathanbrsc just said about the AirZound: it's very effective at making motorists think "What the?..." and realise there is someone there sharing the road with them, after all . My favourite AirZound trick is to ride past the open driver's window of a driver illegally parked in a bicycle lane just to yack on his/her mobile phone, and give the AirZound a good, long blast just as I reach the driver's window . Petty of me, I know, but oh so satisfying!

Hi all,

Just joined. Been cycling about a year. Started with joining a charity ride from London to MK for BHF last October or thereabouts.I bought a Jamis Xenith on ride to work scheme. Good bike. I have done a small number of sportives since. I have more recently joined a local club and have done a few rides of 50 miles or so with them.Recently purchased a new (2013) Cannondale Super 6 evo Ultegra Di2. I parted company with my bike unexpectedly a few weeks ago while out for a short post dinner ride and broke my collar bone. Had a plate fitted 12 days ago and can't ride for a couple more weeks at least. Very frustrating but will be back on 2 wheels asap.

Hi all, just joined so please be gentle with me.

Last week I collected my new Giant Defy1 as a replacement for a cheap and heavy hybrid. I wanted a bike I would want to ride rather than something I have to ride. So after looking around I went for it, more than happy so far. It's fair to say I am loving it !!

Hi all

My name is Keith and I live in a little village just outside Nottingham. I'm relatively new to cycling and predominately go on pleasure rides with a friend. Bought a Merida Speeder T2-D Hybrid earlier this year and am now looking into getting my first road bike.
Caught the bug big time and try and get out whenever I can. Have just ventured into the world of clip less too and so far no delboy type falls!
