Net curtains have been through the washing machine (cold 15 minute 3 rinses) and re-hung. Windowlene was applied to all the internal glass.

On another note: I sourced and ordered the car tyres for SWMBO's Honda Jazz, I paid for them and she was just supposed to go and get them fitted.

So why was it me at the tyre place this morning?

Oh a slightly better note Vodafone have given me a voucher for a free coffee so at least I've that to drink whilst waiting.

Springwatch news: the first ice cream van of the year has just visited the estate.

8 saw one of those the other day when I came back from a ride. The wind was bitterly cold but I still fancied one. Trouble was the van bu99ered off!

Years ago was in Moscow in winter, had an ice cream in outside temps of -10c, it didn't melt too quick.

Same - the Aygo needs four new tyres (despite son wearing them out) - I'll order them shortly, but I've then got to get him to take it as I can't drive a manual at present.

Second cuppa went down well with a slice of wholemeal bread toasted.

Chased a supplier yesterday re a part they were showing in-stock when we placed the order but kept saying it wouldn't ship for two weeks?
Just had an email from our customer saying it has been delivered today and what is the supplier playing at....

Wheelchair for Mr Dicko. I am filling in the airlines information for our flight. One of the questions was if I can go up and down stairs, I replied I had a bit of trouble in Malta accessing the aircraft from the hot tarmac so now American Airlines has a wheelchair for me thinking I need one. Of course trying to reply to a no reply email is a bit awkward.
Mrs says I need to pack a walking stick and hobble a bit, I ask you.

Update American Airlines just called me and I have put them right, I have been practicing hobbling .
